| Race 2 | AWAPUNI LIQURLAND - C0 - 297 | MY LITTLE MUFFIN was jammed against the rail in the run to the first corner and dropped out to last. ITS WHAT UNO moved across on the first turn and caused checks to GUS THE BUILDER who almost fell, BABYLON ANGEL and RAVEN LOU and they filled the last three places. LAUREN AUDER was checked on the first corner and ran out forcing UNO YOU LIKA and MARIOS MATE very wide on the track. KAITOKE PRINCESS and ASTROS LUCK also collided on the first corner and lost ground. |

All runners pulled up quickly and were examined by the vet and cleared fit to start. the lure was tested and the race was started 7 minutes late. It was observed that the catch on the outside of the box lids came free when pressured by the dogs and this was rectified before the next sprint race. The favourite BEST TELL BRIAN began awkwardly and then stumbled and lost all chance of a placing. TESHAMORE was checked on the first turn and went back to near the rear and stayed back. |

VAL'S FELLA continued in and on the first turn was checked and fell. HOMEBUSH SNIPPET was badly checked in the incident and lost all chance.Two of the favourites MISTEGIC and ISA DUSTY were also affected in the incident and lost ground. VALS FELLA suffered bruising in the fall and was stood down for 7 days. M.Fornasiere was fined $ 20-00 under Rule 135 (1) for failing to catch a dog as arranged.
