Race 1	SPICERS PAPER STAKES - C0 - 525	PACEY MACEY was very slow away and lost several lengths. PACEY MACEY then collided with LAUREN AUDER on the first turn and they both lost momentum before PACEY MACEY recovered to run on well for a close up 5th. LAUREN AUDER and DUMBLESTICK were both checked on the first turn and lost ground.
Race 2	AUTO AUCTIONS DASH - C0 - 295	GLORIAS MATE moved out soon after the start and bumped ITS WHAT UNO. GLORIAS MATE then moved in on the corner and checked DUSTYS REWARD, ASTROS LUCK and KAITOKE POWER who went back to the rear. YULE TIDE clipped the heels of GLORIAS MATE on the bend and went from a handy position back to last and never recovered.
Race 3	DOCUMENT SOLUTION SPRINT - C0 - 295	MONTECITO was scratched due to a bowel infection. ARANUI TAMY was a Club scratching. SABRE WIND moved across from the start and checked WOW BOW, KAITOKE PRINCESS, TUSSY and BRIDIES GYPSY who all lost ground. MONTECITO D.Garrett Rule 259 Suffering from a bowel infection and stood down for 30 days to and including 15.09.05. ARANUI TAMY M.Boyd Club scratching.
Race 4	CAPITAL TAB'S DASH - C1 - 295	FINN O'RILEY and MOSSTON MISTRESS were slow to begin and then MOSSTON MISTRESS ran very wide around the bend and finished several lengths last.
Race 5	EL CHEALPO CARS - C1 - 295	SEASPRAY FOLLY began awkwardly and lost ground as a result He was then checked on the first corner and lost further ground.
Race 6	ANGLO UPHOLSTERERS - C1 - 295	The favourite FROSTY'S FLYER ran in from the start and crowded PEPPERONNI and VETTORI. FROSTY'S FLYER was then tightened between VETTORI and MIAMIGO on the first corner, went back to the rear and never recovered.
Race 7	B & P ENGINEERING - C1 - 295	WINCHESTER MISS and MY SINBAD were slow to begin and WINCHESTER MISS was then checked on the first corner, went back to last and stayed there to the finish.
Race 8	CUSTOMS AGENTS WELLINGTON - C2 - 295	MISTER FORBES was scratched and is now deceased. The race was all clear. MISTER FORBES P.Denbee Now deceased.
Race 9	PETER SINCLAIR PHOTOS - C2 - 295	One of the favourites FAITHFUL MITTENS was the slowest away and could not make up the lost ground and finished in 5th place.
Race 10	BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS - C1 - 525	STAUNCH moved in starting the last bend and checked SHONI'S LIGHT who lost three lengths. DANCING BANSHEE and STAUNCH jostled together on the home turn and STAUNCH dropped out to last and finished in that position.
Race 11	ACCSYS FOR QUICKBOOKS - C2/3 - 525	SUNSET JEST forced TRUANT in onto CANONGATE soon after the start and checked that runner back to near the rear. CANONGATE then recovered to make ground well for 3rd place. The winner MEDIA FRENZY was sent for a swab but due to a possible security breach, the dog was released without a sample being taken. The door to the Vets room had inadvertantly been left open briefly while the room was unattended.
Race 12	EMBROIDERY SPECIALISTS - C3/4 - 295	The winner YALLAH ROSE tightened several other runners on the first corner as she went to the lead.
