Race 1	MAIDEN SPRINT - C0 - 295	BIANCA NEVE jumped in at the start and checked AUK and HOMEBUSH FITZY who settled back in the field. TIGERISH collided with BIANCA NEVE on the first corner, moved out and forced AUK wide over extra ground.
Race 2	SPICERS PAPER DASH - C1 - 295	MARGES GIRL was very slow to begin, lost several lengths and then ran wide on the bend and eventually finished well back. General tightening on the first corner resulted in checks to HOMEBUSH LEGEND, THRILLING HOPE, SHES HOME SOON and TEMNICK STAR who all lost some ground.
Race 3	CAPITAL TABS DASH - C1 - 295	LADY MALONE was a late scratching due to suffering from kennel cough. JIMMY ALLEN and BOUND FOR CHINA jostled together for a few strides soon after the start with BOUND FOR CHINA dropping back before recovering to run on for 3rd place. LADY MALONE L.Haigh Rule 259 A late scratching due to suffering from kennel cough and stood down for 10 days to and including 21.08.05.
Race 4	SIX PACK STAKES - C3 - 525	SUNSET JEST was a late scratching due to suffering from diarrhoea. One of the favourites CANONGATE was slow to begin and then ran wide on the first bend before recovering to run on for 3rd place. CLAIRE EYES was jostled soon after the start and on the first corner and dropped back several lengths and stayed at the rear throughout. SUNSET JEST D.Garrett Rule 259 A late scratching due to suffering from diarrhoea and stood down for 3 days to and including 14.08.05.
Race 5	ANGLO UPHOLSTERERS - C1 - 295	PENMANS PAL and LISSADELL PRINCE collided on the first corner and PENMANS PAL dropped out to finish well back.
Race 6	CUSTOMS AGENTS WELLINGTON - C1 - 295	BARRETO JEWEL and HOMEBUSH TYSON were slow to begin and BARRETO JEWEL stayed back and finished last while HOMEBUSH TYSON recovered well to win.
Race 7	ACCSYS FOR QUICKBOOKS - C2 - 295	GINGER TYLER was observed to ease going towards the first corner and went back to last and stayed there. GINGER TYLER was stood down for one month under Rule 322 (1) (b) and is required to trial under Rule 179 (1). Race 8	UPPER HUTT COSSIE CLUB - C1 - 525	MCMURDO was checked back to last soon after the start but then recovered well to finish in 2nd place. The favourite DINAH WASHINGTON was forced to race wide from box 8 and was last into the back straight and only battled in the home straight to finish in 2nd last place.

Race 10	BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS - C4/5 - 525	KANE BALE was scratched due to a leg injury. HE'S HYPO and THRILLING PAUL were both slow to begin with THRILLING PAUL in particular losing several lengths and all chance of a placing.
