Judicial report: Weather: Fine RW Cairns, handler of CLAN JAYDEE was fined $25.00 under Rules 262 and 135.1 as a result of reporting late to the kennel stewards prior to Race 2.

Race 1 ADVANCE PERFORMANCE STAKES - C1 - 520 HOMEBUSH GOLIATH and the favourite KING CALIBRE were slow jumping settling at the rear. Into the first bend CAWBOURNE FRIEND and HOMEBUSH GOLIATH were tightened with the latter hitting the rail. He was subject to a post race veterinary check which revealed nothing amiss.
Race 2 CONTAINERS DIRECT INTERTRADE SPRINT - C1 - 295 JEMALONG EASTERN drifted out soon after the jump before improving through the field to run on for second. Into the first bend SUPREME CHANCE and MISTRESS BELLA came together coming back on CLAN JAYDEE with the favourite HAUNTED HALL running wide to avoid these dogs. HAUNTED HALL ran on late for fourth with the other three at the rear.
Race 3 CANTERBURY DRAUGHT SIX PACK - C2/3 - 520 CHEAP WINE drifted to the rear after the jump. Into the first bend he and FIFI THE FLEA collided losing further ground. They finished at the rear. FORCEFUL HABIT (MM Grant) diarrhoea. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 259. 5 days up to and including 9 August 2005.
Race 4 DAVE ROBBIE PHOTOGRAPHER SPRINT - C4/5 - 295 MILANION, KEDO'S JAMIE and SPECIAL EFFECTS came together into the first bend losing all chance, forcing MRS DOO wide on the track. They finished well back.
Race 5 BILLS BAR & BISTRO SPRINT - C2/3 - 295 HOMEBUSH WILLY was tightened soon after jumping settling at the rear before railing up to finish on for fourth. Into the first bend HOMEBUSH JASON ran outwards tightening MEET THE PARENTS, JESSE JOHN and MRS PEEL. They lost all chance filling the last four places.
Race 6 FLAIR DISTANCE - C1d - 732 All clear. CONSENT (JT McInerney) deceased.
Race 7 SHIRLEY TAB STAKES - C1 - 520 DAPPER DENA, AQUA COSTI, CALL ME NELSON, ROYAL TAP and TAMBOOLI came together into the first bend losing ground. ROYAL TAP ran on for third with the others at the rear.
Race 8 NUTRI-ZING SPRINT - C1 - 295 KNOWLEDGE lost all chance when missing the jump by 3 lengths. He finished last. Around the bend CURRENT POWER was tightened by CLAN MISTY before moving out off JIMMY ALLEN'S hindquarters to lose ground and finish near the rear. JIMMY ALLEN ran on late for third.
Race 9 BARRONS SUPPLIES STAKES - C4/5 - 520 DR ABERNATHY and QUIET SPIRIT were tightened soon after the jump finishing at the rear. QUIET SPIRIT was subject to a post race veterinary check which revealed nothing amiss.
Race 10 BACK HERE SUNDAY SPRINT - C1 - 295 The short priced favourite lost all chance at the start when missing the jump by three lengths. ROLLEN and HOMEBUSH WAVE were tightened into the first bend . ROLLEN ran on for third with HOMEBUSH WAVE well back. WILD BILL ran wide around the bend losing ground to finish well back.
