Judicial report: Weather: Fine IG COX, trainer of CHEW CHEW BLUE was fined $100.00 for a breach of Rule 269(3).
JT McInerney, trainer of CHEAP WINE was fined $100.00 for a breach of Rule 172, after he had nominated for Race 9 on Friday 29 July 2005, when the dog was subject to a stand down under Rule 329 up to and including 3 August 2005.

| Race 15 | MARLBOROUGH SPRINT - C1 - 295 | HAPPY'S CHOICE and MYSTERY SOLVED were tightened into the first bend coming back on WATTA FLYER, LAZY HARRY and ANGEL EYES. These five dogs lost all chance. |

| Race 17 | WANGANUI SPRINT - C1 - 295 | EL ASSASSIN jumped awkwardly and drifted out to finish a long last. A post raced veterinary check revealed nothing amiss. DENZIL DANCER drifted out after the jump never improving. Into the first bend CURRENT POWER moved out off SANTO FLEX running wide and taking STATELY POWER wide as well. All three ran on to finish midfield. |
| Race 18 | NORTH OTAGO SPRINT - C1 - 295 | JIMMY ALLEN was very slow to jump before showing speed to improve around the field to run on for third. TYRONES AWESOME ran down towards the rail after jumping checking SURFCLUB GIRL and then MY PERK. They finished at the rear with TYRONES AWESOME running on for second. CHEW CHEW FUDDLE (IG Cox) was a late scratching when weighing in 1.7kgs under her last race weight. Rule 269(3). Trainer Cox fined $100.00. |
