Judicial report: Weather: Overcast / fine Trainer G.A.Lawrence was questioned regarding his failure to kennel one of his greyhounds within the specified time. His explanation was accepted on this occasion however he was reminded of his obligations under Rule 262

A CO non-tote race (375 mtrs) was run prior to the first race and won by Thrilling Cullen ( N.Udy ) in a time of 21.59 sec.

| Race 1 | WELCOME TO CAMBRIDGE DASH - C0 - 375 | I'm The Boss and Iron Woman came together for several strides after the start. Niagara Cresent ran very wide on the home turn, covered extra ground and then ran on well in the home straight for 4th. |
| Race 2 | MATANGI MAIDEN - C0 - 457 | Devil In Me, Rockwell Reason (favourite), Sable Gold and Mr Horatio (winner) were slowest to begin. Mac's Factor moved outwards to a very wide running position after 60 mtrs losing valuable ground. This runner was then tightened and checked on the first turn and never improved thereafter finishing last. Bonnie Token was also checked as a result of this incident. |
| Race 3 | DINSDALE DASH - C1 - 375 | Diamond Ditto was slow to begin. Awesome At Last (favourite and winner), Charlston Zoom and Hurricane Cove came together after the start. Awesome At Last and Charlston Zoom came together again entering the first turn with Awesome At Last being checked. Charlston Zoom endeavoured to move to the rail on the bend, taking the path of Edna Maycee and resulting in severe checks to both runners. Awesome At Last and Nikkei (2nd) were wide throughout and both ran on strongly in the home straight. |
| Race 4 | TAYLOR STREET SPRINT - C2 - 375 | Baltasar and Charlston Flash were slowest to begin. Baltasar and Bus Painter came together twice on the bend with Bus Painter being checked on the second occasion and dropping back to finish last. |
| Race 5 | RACEWAY MAIDEN - C0 - 375 | Sun Of Jonelle (4th) ran outwards and Lord Maximus (favourite) inwards at the start causing tightening and checks to themselves, Colonial Cool and Super Deal (3rd). On the first turn Lord Maximus was tightened and checked. Colonial Cool, Lord Maximus and Pats Pride collided on the bend with all three being severely checked. |
| Race 6 | T.A.B PUMP & AUTOMOTIVE STAKES - C1 - 457 | Colonel Hogan was scratched. Booming Time (winner), Sea Drifter and Billy Hove were slowest to begin. Booming Time and Maxine's Beauty (2nd) came together nearing the first time with both runners being checked. Booming Time was well back in the running until the home straight and showed speed and determination down the outside of the track to win well. Colonel Hogan (A.Cleaver). | Race 7 | IMPROVERS SPRINT - C1 - 375 | Schultz and Harmoneyes were slowest to begin. Hypo Lomu was denied racing room on the bend. Harmoneyes ran outwards sharply off the rail on the home turn severely checking Queen Rowley. A post race veterinary examination of Queen Rowley detected an injury requiring a 10 day stand down from racing. Queen Rowley (H.R.Bond). Left hip support soreness. | Race 8 | COMMITTEE SPRINT - C3/4 - 375 | This race started 2 minutes late due to a request from TAB Trackside Control. Kiwi Fire and Goldfinger Jewel were slowest to begin. I'm Wishing, Time Over Boots and Just Hasty raced in tight quarters on the first bend with Just Hasty being checked and losing 3 lengths. Goldfinger Jewel and I'm Wishing came together nearing the home turn with I'm Wishing being checked slightly. |
| Race 9 | LEAMINGTON DISTANCE - C1d - 630 | Thrilling Dash was slow to begin. Awesome Enforcer jumped awkwardly and missed the start slightly. Kolliwobble dropped out to finish a distant last. A post race veterinary check detected injuries requiring a 10 day stand down from racing. Kolliwobble (G.A.Lawrence). Soreness left and right gluteals plus sacro-iliac. Rule 329. 10 days up to and including 02.08.05. |
| Race 10 | SUPERIOR GREYHOUND FORMULA STAKES - C2 - 457 | Four Square and Charlston Kid missed the start by 5 lengths and recovered reasonably well for 6th and 5th placing respectively. On the first turn Kath clipped the hind quarters of Trendy Time and fell heavily. Just The Don was also checked in this incident. A post race veterinary examination of Kath an injury requiring a 10 day stand down from racing. Kath (A.Cleaver). Right hind hock soreness. Rule 329. 10 days up to and including 02.08.05. |
