Judicial report: Weather: Fine All races started as scheduled except Race 1 which was delayed slightly due to an overhead aircraft.

Race 1 STREETS ICE CREAM STAKES - C0 - 527 Triway reared as boxes opened and lost 2 lengths. Sable Gold was the slowest to begin. Sixteen Gauge was tightened slightly on the first turn and checked Sable Gold as a result. Pats Pride moved outwards to a wider running position on the first bend. Triway and Sable Gold changed ground in the home straight.
Race 2 DENNYS DASH - C1 - 318 Miss MacSteele and Dr Dal Santo were slow to begin. Entering the first turn Miss MacSteele (4th) endeavoured to move outwards off the rail checking itself, Sea Master (5th), Dr Dal Santo and Schultz.
Race 3 JIMBOS PETFOOD STAKES - C2/3 - 527 Johnnies Luck was slow to begin. Winsome Rush and Shooshla came together for a stride entering the first turn with Shooshla being checked and Tourist Jack hampered.
Race 4 MEADOWSET GRAPHICS DASH - C1 - 318 Just Curly (4th) and Lesson In Life jostled and checked each other on four occasions between the start and the first turn. Entering the first turn Lesson In Life moved inwards causing tightening and severe checks to itself, Sea Drifter, Davron Lass, Just Curly and Miss Tracey Lee. As a result of this interference Davron Lass fell and finished a distant last. A veterinary examination of this runner detected no injury.
Race 5 COMMERCIAL PLUMBING DASH - C2 - 318 Bubba Hotep, Bus Painter and Foreign Diplomat were slow to begin. Don Paulie (2nd) moved inwards after 50 mtrs and checked Ina Tizzy and Hang On Mate. Hang On Mate was tightened when vying for the lead on the first turn and then drifted back quickly through the field to a rear position. Bus Painter was at the rear early then made up ground well along the rails for 4th. Bubba Hotep moved inwards slightly on the home turn checking Hang On Mate.
Race 6 COCA-COLA STAKES - C1 - 527 Number One Gun jumped awkwardly, lost 2 lengths then raced wide for the first 250mtrs. Our Madge and Under Time came together for a stride after the start. Shanti was tightened slightly on the first turn. Colonel Hogan (A.Cleaver). Diarrhoea. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259. 5 days up to and including 24.07.05.
Race 7 MANUKAU RESTRICTED AGE SPRINT FINAL - SPECf - 318 Boot's Last and Dyna Sandra (4th) jostled persistently between the start and the first turn. Boot's Last and This Time Boots came together prior to and entering the first turn with both being checked. Tiger Strike (favourite and 5th) moved outwards on the home turn and forced Tiger Time to cover extra ground.
Race 8 WATERLOO CUP HEAT - C5q - 527 Heat 1 Special Fancy was boxed first due to a current 'hard to box' classification and was observed and reported to box without difficulty. Fashion Thief (3rd) was slow to begin and made up ground well for 3rd. Shining Comet was slow to begin then drifted to the rear and showed no improvement thereafter. Nitro Bird (2nd) moved inwards at the start and checked Stabila Boss. Special Fancy ran outwards sharply off the rail on the first turn severely checking Inside Cover.
Race 9 RADIO PACIFIC STAKES - C4/5 - 527 Time Solves, Run To Paradise and Mr Blackout were the slowest to begin. On the first turn Run To Paradise collided with the hind quarters of and severely checked Lindale Express which never recovered and finished last.
Race 10 CAROL'S TAB DASH - C4/5 - 318 Maxi The Taxi (4th) and Rickita Bale were slow to begin. Entering the first turn Maxi The Taxi clipped the heels of Wild Kentucky and lost 2 lengths. Sue Van Gill ran outwards on the home turn hampering China's Fire and Wild Kentucky.
