Judicial report: Weather: Rain The AGRC Chairman (B.McGhie) was consulted regarding the pending appointment and training of new Raceday Officials namely the Judge and Swabbing Steward. He advised that a decision was imminent.

Prior to the first race the Stipendiary Steward met with the officiating Track Stewards to discuss matters pertaining to race observation, assessment and reporting procedure.

| Race 1 | TINT-A-CAR MAIDEN SPRINT - HEAT 1 - C0q - 318 Heat 1 | Bugsy Malone and Wairangi Bay were slow to begin. Thrilling Wendy, Ima Freeman and Niagara Cresent came together after the start. Diamond Ditto (2nd) moved inwards to the rail on the first turn taking the path of Ima Freeman which almost fell and recovered very well for 3rd. As a result of general tightening on the first turn Calm Osti, Thrilling Wendy (favourite and 4th), Niagara Cresent, Wairangi Bay and Bugsy Malone were involved in a chain reaction of interference with all suffering severe checks. Calm Osti galloped on the heels of Niagara Cresent nearing the home turn. |
| Race 2 | TINT-A-CAR MAIDEN SPRINT - HEAT 2 - C0q - 318 Heat 1 | Puzzle Time and Boldben Flash were slow to begin. Sixteen Gauge and Boldben Flash came together after the start. Davron Lass and Bonnie Token came together after 70 mtrs. Puzzle Time moved outwards sharply into the first turn and checked Boldben Flash. Davron Lass moved outwards to a wider running position on the first turn and checked Sixteen Gauge. |
| Race 3 | COCA-COLA MAIDEN STAKES - C0 - 527 | Sable Gold was slow to begin. Sun Of Jonelle ran outwards at the start causing Iza Dance (2nd) to be tightened which in turn moved outwards and checked Shanti (3rd) slightly. Entering the back straight Sable Gold galloped on the heels of and checked Sun Of Jonelle with both runners losing all chance and filling the last two placings. |

Watch My Spot and Classy Breeze were slow to begin and then came together nearing the first turn with Watch My Spot being checked and drifting out to finish last. Thrilling Blonde (K.Walsh). Nikkei (3rd), Bluemoon and Farmer John came together nearing the first turn. Our Shereena moved outwards across the heels of Bubba Hotep on the first turn and was checked. Bluemoon moved inwards to the rail on the bend and severely checked Rythmic Finale. Dr Dal Santo (R.P.O'Regan). Soreness in both metacarpals. Veterinary certificate supplied. | Race 7 | RADIO PACIFIC STAKES - C1 - 527 | Number One Gun (4th), Nadal and Ona Run were slow to begin. Nadal moved outwards across the heels of Ona Run on the bend and lost 3 lengths. |
| Race 8 | DENNY'S DASH - C1 - 318 | Stock Broker was a late scratching. Friendly Virus ran inwards at the start tightening and checking Hurricane Cove and Camcaff. Dalikah moved outwards nearing the first turn jostling and checking Friendly Virus (4th). Shortly after Dalikah had it's heels galloped on by Friendly Virus. A post race veterinary examination of Dalikah detected an injury requiring a 14 day stand down from racing. Stock Broker (F.D.Farmer). Late scratching. Lame and soreness in shoulder / pectorals. | Race 10 | MANUKAU SPRINT - C2 - 318 | Kaimai Gold was scratched Coniston Bale and Christopher Bale (3rd) were slow to begin. Coniston Bale moved outwards across the heels of Christopher Bale on the bend and lost 3 lengths. Black Tyler ran very wide on the home turn and lost valuable ground at a crucial stage of the race. Calm Flow moved outwards slightly on the first turn causing a check to Goldfinger Jewel. Calm Flow moved outwards on the bend and hampered Don Paulie slightly. |

Arnies First moved outwards on the bend and checked Gold Strike. |

Entering the back straight Graphics faltered and dropped out to finish a distant last. A veterinary examination detected injuries requiring a 7 day stand down from racing.
