Judicial report: Weather: Fine The inquiry adjourned at Otago GRC on 23 June 2005, against trainers J&D Fahey was recovened. D Fahey pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 135.1 in that he failed to notify the Club Secretary of a scratching when he was aware of injury, thus causing the first reserve not to be transported to the meeting by trainer JV Busch. J&D Fahey were fined $50.00.

Race 1 ADVANCE PERFORMANCE STAKES - C1 - 520 CECILIA PHAROAH was slow to jump settling at the rear and never improving. MULBERRY TRUMP and AQUA COSTI collided into the first bend losing all chance finishing well back.
Race 2 GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND SPRINT - C1 - 295 IDOLISE ME, PARNELL JEWEL and LAST ORDERS were slow to jump. IDOLISE ME recovered well along the rail to run on for third. Into the first bend PARNELL JEWELL struck HOMEBUSH WAVE both losing ground finishing midfield. Soon after LAST ORDERS checked out off HOMEBUSH WAVE losing ground to finish last.
Race 3 CONTAINERS DIRECT INTERTRADE SPRINT - C0 - 295 REV ON BYE missed the jump by six lengths. Into the first bend ICONIC LADY and AWESOME BROWNIE came together losing momentum. They ran on for third and fourth. TALKING SOFA ran wide around the bend losing ground to finish at the rear with REV ON BYE. IMPASSE (MJ Flipp) skin infection. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 259. 10 days up to and including 3 July 2005.
Race 4 GEORGE CALVERT CLEANING SPRINT - C1 - 295 TAMBOOLI drifted after jumping settling last. Into the first bend HAPPY'S CHOICE, TAMBOOLI and TEMNICK STAR came together losing all chance filling the last three places.
Race 5 SUPERPETS STAKES - C0 - 520 CURRENT RUSH ran very wide around the first bend losing ground to finish last. The favourite PATTYS ANSWER was tardy to begin settling back before improving into the back straight to settle behind the leader and winner ASTRO JIMMY. Turning for home PATTYS ANSWER and MY BEEDLEBOMB looked to be a threat to ASTRO JIMMY however ran on only fairly over the concluding stages.
Race 6 C.T.V SPRINT - C1 - 295 DENZIL DANCER ran wide around the bend losing ground finishing at the rear.
Race 7 SHIRLEY VETERINARY SPRINT - C0 - 295 BLUE CURRENT ran wide around the bend and into the straight finishing near the rear. TIME TO FLIRT checked out off the winner MYSTERY SOLVED turning for home, losing ground to finish fourth.
Race 8 EXCELSIOR SPORTS BAR & TAB - C1 - 520 All clear.
Race 9 DAVE EMERSON CONSULTANCY - C0 - 295 The favourite LOOKOUT LARRY was slow to jump settling a clear last before running on for third. DARKOZARK KNIGHT drifted after the jump finishing last. Turning for home CLAN MARY LOU ran out coming in contact with an improving UNCLE EZRA who lost momentum finishing fourth. CLAN MARY LOU finished second.
Race 10 ROBBIES BAR & BISTRO STAKES - C1 - 295 BLONDE REBEL was slow to jump settling last. Around the bend when improving she ran wide taking MARRICK MAID wide. They filled the last two places. LUNAR ANGEL and HOMEBUSH TONY were tightened soon after the jump finishing well back.
Race 11 KOLORFUL KANVAS SPRINT - C1 - 520 FINE STAR was slow to jump, settled last and never improved. ROLE MODEL (RD Blackburn) water diabetes. Rule 257. 30 days up to and including 24 July 2005.
Race 12 BILLS BAR & BISTRO - C1 - 295 MY SINBAD and TRINITY STORM were slow settling at the rear. Into the first bend the favourite TAJURA BALE, MY SINBAD and COMPACT CONNIE were checked from general tightening filling the last three places. TRINITY STORM ran wide around this skirmish after her slow start to finish on wide out for third. MY PERK (JV Busch) infected left wrist. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 259. 10 days up to and including 6 July 2005.
Race 13 ALPHA PROCESSING SPRINT - C0 - 295 GOLDEN HIGH was slow to jump settling last. COUNTRY TIME who dwelt slighty at the jump improved along the rail into the first bend before being tightened by dogs on her outer. She checked outwards as a result with checks to an improving GOLDEN HIGH, SOUND A TUNE, LIGNUM VITAE, MISS LUCK and MANTARI RULE. COMUNTRY TIME and MANTARI RULE ran on for second and third. Turning for home GOLDEN HIGH ran out and fought with SOUND A TUNE when racing at the rear. A charge under Rule 322(1)(a) was preferrred against GOLDEN HIGH and trainer MJ Ruston. The charge was proven with GOLDEN HIGH stood down for one month up to and including 27 July 2005 and to undertake a satisfactory trial. Race 14 INDEPENDENT CARPET CRANFORD - C0 - 520 CURRENT HOME drifted after jumping before running through along the rail into the first bend to move to the lead and hold on to win. Into the first corner ANGEL OF HARLEM, PAULAS AWESOME and IMA LLOYDIE wer checked settling well back. Into the back straight CLAN ORA, PAULAS AWESOME and HOMEBUSH MIKEY collided losing all chance. They filled the last three places. ANGEL OF HARLEM finished strongly in the straight for second. PUMBA CASS (MJ Flipp) gastroenteritis. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 259. 10 days up to and including 3 July 2005.
Race 15 RADIO TRACKSIDE SPRINT - C2 - 295 OHOKO FLIRT was checked from general tightening into the first bend coming back on CONSENT and TEDDY JUNCTION. They lost all chance finishing at the rear.
Race 16 DAVE ROBBIE PHOTOGRAPHER - C1 - 295 MAXIMUM and BELLE OF PAREORA were slow to jump. Into the first bend SUPREME CHANCE and MISSING FERN came together when vying for the lead, MISSING FERN losing here footing and all chance finishing last. A veterinary check revealed no injury. HOMEBUSH McGIVAR was a late scratching at kennelling with a forearm infection. J McInerney Jnr was spoken to and advised that the scab to an old injury was found to have been knocked off at the time of loading for the race meeting. The club veterinary surgeon confirmed the infection as having originated from an old injury with the scab removed at the time of presentation. HOMEBUSH McGIVAR (JT McInerney) was a late scratching at kennelling when found with an infected right forearm. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 259. 5 days up to and including 1 July 2005.
Race 17 GARDEN CITY CHEM-DRY - C1 - 520 SURFCLUB GIRL turned in the boxes losing at least 25 lengths. After leaving the boxes, she ran wide almost running off the track. A satisfactory trial in accordance with Rule 179 was ordered to be undertaken prior to racing again. SURFCLUB GIRL (DT Barnes) to undertake a satisfactory trial in accordance with Rule 179.
Race 18 WILSONS SPORTS BAR & TAB SPRINT - C2 - 295 WHATA TOWN was slow to jump from the outside box. The favourite HOMEBUSH GORDON was tardy when jumping and improved along the rail to win well. PUSH PLAY improved wide around the field tightening SYDNEY'S LEGEND, POWERFAST PATCH, SING VERA LYNN and MONKEY BAY turning for home. PUSH PLAY finished strongly for second with the others at the rear.
Race 19 COASTERS TAVERN - C1 - 295 ROBERTALAN was slow to jump but improved along the rail to finish on for second.
Race 20 CANTERBURY DRAUGHT SIX PACK - C2 - 520 All clear.
