Race 1	PRINCESS TAVERN CHALLENGE CUP - C1h - 505	PANIA'S REEF moved out and ARANUI PICK moved in soon after the start and this caused checks to ARANUI FLASH and KIWI BLUE who were drawn in between. PANIA'S REEF drifted out soon after and eventually finished several lengths last and was examined by the vet and stood down for 7 days with an injury to a metatarsal. PANIA'S REEF S.Gardner Rule 329 Suffering from a metatarsal injury and stood down for 7 days to and including 02.07.05.
Race 2	ALBION TAVERN - C0 - 297	DUSTYS REWARD was slow to begin and was then checked on first turn and fell but was uninjured. CALL ME SPYRO and PLEASANT SECRET were checked in the same incident and lost all chance.
Race 3	AWAPUNI LIQUORLAND - C0 - 505	MCMURDO raced onto the heels of JEFFIES FELLA on the first bend, moved out sharply and caused TUSSY, UNO JEANO and AMANDA CHOICE to fall but they were all uninjured. HOKIO STAR led into the first corner but then eased noticeably as outside runners moved across and dropped back several places. a close watch will be kept on HOKIO STAR in future starts.
Race 4	BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS WGTN - C1 - 297	LADY MALONE began awkwardly and settled at the rear and lost all chance of a placing.
Race 5	PETER SINCLAIR PHOTOS - C1 - 505	EMILIE ONE was scratched due to pad injury. BET SHE CAN was galloped on by CAWBOURNE STEWY on the first corner and fell but was not injured. CAWBOURNE STEWY lost several lengths in the incident and was never a chance of a placing thereafter. EMILIE ONE A.Hall Rule 259 Suffering from a pad injury and was presented and stood down for 5 days to and including 29.06.05.
Race 6	OUTBACK TRADING - C1/2 - 505	COMANCHE BRAVE galloped onto the heels of LADY BRIANA on the first corner, was checked and ran wide. HANG ON MATE went to the front on the final bend but was then observed to ease slightly and battled into 4th place. A close watch will be kept on the dog in future races.
Race 7	OXFORD TRUST - C2 - 297	All clear.
Race 8	BRISCOES PALM NRTH - C4/5 - 505	LADY LEAH was scratched and is now retired. SPARKLING LIGHTS was checked when entering the back straight and went from a handy position back to near the rear and eventually finished in last place. LADY LEAH D.Garrett Rule 259 Scratched due to injury and has now been retired.
Race 9	HELL PIZZA STAKES - C3 - 297	MISTER FORBES and TEDDY TYLER were slow to begin, settled well back and failed to make much impression, finishing well back.
Race 10	MANWATU SOUND SERVICE - C3 - 505	CELESTIAL was scratched due to injury. There was some jostling early in the race with ASTRAKHAN being the most affected and she went back to last but then recovered to run on for 3rd place. CELESTIAL B & E Gough Rule 259 Suffering from flexor tendon bruising and stood down for 10 days to and including 02.07.05. MISS MOONWALK G.Caffell Rule 329 Suffered a puncture wound to a foreleg and stood down for 7 days to and including 02.07.05.
