| Race 1 | MIDWINTER STAKES - C1 - 545 | ROLE MODEL was slow to jump settling last before improving into the first bend, running wide down the back straight to finish on for second to the favourite ANNA LEE WHISKY who lead the entire journey to win easily. Into the first bend ENOUGH TIME clipped the rear of an improving ROLE MODEL running wide and taking LOCHINVAR FIRE with her. These two lost all chance finishing at the rear. LAST ACCOUNT (J&D Fahey) diarroea. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 259. 10 days up to and including 2 July 2005. WHATA DARLING (JV Busch) club scratching. No penalty. |
| Race 2 | CONGRATULATIONS MICHAEL CAMPBELL STAKES - C1 - 545 | KING CALIBRE, CLAN MURDOCH and INDEFINITE were slow to jump. Into the first bend an improving KING CALIBRE collided with INCOGNITO and AQUA COSTI, all three losing ground with an improving CLAN MURDOCH running wide. INDEFINITE ran on for second with the others finishing towards the rear. ULTIMATE MOVER who led early drifted out over the concluding stages to finish beyond midfield. |
| Race 3 | MURRAYS PIES SPRINT - C0 - 310 | AWESOME BROWNIE drifted after jumping before running on late for fourth. MISS LUCK ran out after the jump before being struck by NOCRON'S RAIDER who lost ground. MISS LUCK ran on for second. Soon after VOO DOO and GOLDEN SI came together losing ground. They along with NOCRON'S RAIDER finished near the rear. |
| Race 4 | HARBROW ENGINEER SPRINT - C1 - 310 | HOMEBUSH MAX was slow to jump settling at the rear. MAXIMUM drifted after jumping running wide into the first bend. Into the first bend TEMINCK STAR fell when racing in tightened quarters, with checks to CYBIL DEFENCE, MULBERRY CHELLE and EXPANDED. These dogs finished at the rear. TEMNICK STAR regained her feet finishing the event some distance behind the field. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury. |
| Race 5 | AMBER CLEANING CHRISTCHURCH SPRINT - C1 - 310 | KNOWLEDGE and HOMEBUSH TONY were slow to jump settling at the rear. Into the first bend PARNELL JEWELL struck the favourite MARIA HANOVER both losing ground. Into the home straight KNOWLEDGE ran out from the rail and collided with HOMEBUSH McGIVAR who almost fell. |
| Race 6 | FITZROY PUB ON THE PARK SPRINT - C1 - 310 | HOMEBUSH BITE was tightened between dogs into the first bend coming back on WIKI FLEX and HAPPY'S CHOICE. HAPPY'S CHOICE ran on for fourth with the other two at the rear. |
| Race 7 | GO THE ALL BLACKS SPRINT - C1 - 310 | Into the first bend CECILIA HENRY, AQUA FRED and HOMEBUSH WAVE were tightened with HOMEBUSH WAVE falling and the other two losing all chance. HOMEBUSH WAVE regained her feet and finished the event. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury. JIMMY ALLEN (AC Roberts) was a late scratching at kennelling with a cut foot. They never improved filling he last two places. Into the back straight BURN THE PEG and DISCLOSE came together losing little ground. They finished on to place first and third respectively. | Race 11 | WOBBLY'S BAR & BISTRO SPRINT - C3/4 - 310 | HOMEBUSH LUMP and CORDU BALE came together around the bend finishing towards the rear. No time was taken as the box lids failed to activate on the sensor, with the lids started manually by the starter. The lure distance to the dogs was reviewed and found within acceptable parameters. No reason for the failure of the sensor to activate was established. All clear. |
