Judicial report: Weather: Fine Trainer W.A.Steele was questioned and reminded of the requirements in relation to providing catchers for 375 mtr races. His explanation was accepted on this occasion.

This race meeting operated on time throughout the 16 race programme and no race related injuries were reported which required stand down from racing. All Trainers, handlers and race day officials are acknowledged and thanked for their efforts in achieving an excellent result.

| Race 2 | CAMBRIDGE HURDLES CHAMPIONSHIP - HEAT 4 - C1/2hq - 457 Heat 1 | Aranui Flash was slow to begin. Gone Troppo raced near or in the lead early then appeared to falter on the first turn and drifted out to finish last. A post race veterinary examination detected no injury. Ralph jumped inwards sharply to jump the 2nd hurdle and landed in the path of Aranui Flash which fell heavily and severely checked Ralph as a result. A post race veterinary examination of Aranui Flash detected no injury. Aranui Pick misjudged the second to last hurdle and almost fell then recovered to finish 5th. |
| Race 3 | WELCOME VISITORS TO FIELDAYS DASH - C1 - 375 | Miamigo was scratched ex AGRC on 09.06.05. Oh So Lyrical and Swift Breeze were slow to begin. King Of Dreams, First Sample, Legal Edition, Tiger Strike (favourite) and Oh So Lyrical came together in general tightening shortly after the start. | Race 4 | KAIPAKI STAKES - C0 - 457 | Boldben Flash ran outwards at the start causing tightening and severe checks to Earthwind, Sable Raeder, Shellsal and Fortified Hope (4th). Sable Raeder was never in contention thereafter finishing last. |
| Race 5 | MYSTERY CREEK MAIDEN - C0 - 375 | Ngapuhi Boy and Ona Run (2nd) were slow to begin. Marios Mate ran outwards after the start and hampered Sun Of Jonelle. Waitamo moved outwards on the bend and checked itself and Marios Mate in the process. A performance related veterinary check was ordered for Sixteen Gauge which detected no injury. |
| Race 6 | TAMAHERE STAKES - C0 - 457 | Dumblestick and Harmoneyes came together for a stride after 60 mtrs. Sable Gold moved inwards after 100 mtrs and hampered Gone Tibet. Sable Gold and Lauren Auder came together for a stride nearing the first turn with Sable Gold being slightly checked. Shanti ran wide on the bend, lost valuable ground and ran on strongly in the home straight for 2nd. |
| Race 7 | COME RACING AT CAMBRIDGE SPRINT - C1 - 375 | Baltasar missed the start by 4 lengths. Budleigh Babe jumped awkwardly and lost 2 lengths. Tony The Greek ran outwards at the start and hampered Dusty's Diamond. Baltasar and Budleigh Babe ran very wide on the bend and covered extra ground. Sabre Strike was tightened and checked on the first turn, dropped backwards quickly and severely checked Charlston Zoom which lost all chance. A post race veterinary check ordered for Sabre Strike detected no injury. |

| Race 9 | IMPROVERS - HEAT 1 - C1q - 457 Heat 1 | Brandalyn Bale was scratched due to injury. Hello Awesome (favourite) and Lika Cruise were slow to begin. Shezmy Scallywag ran inwards after 40 mtrs and checked Hello Awesome. Hostile Girlie, Hello Awesome and Jumbo Flash jostled for position nearing the first turn. Brandalyn Bale (G.N.Pomeroy). | Race 10 | WWW.DOGTIPS.NET.NZ SPRINT - C2 - 375 | Quiver Lip, Coniston Bale, Mo Mistress and Lissadell Prince came together after the start with all suffering checks. Quiver Lip showed no improvement thereafter finishing last. Camcaff and Quiver Lip came together nearing the first turn. Coniston Bale ran very wide on the bend. A post race veterinary check was ordered for Sue Van Gill which was observed to have blood coming from the mouth. No serious injury was detected. Just The Don (J.B.Hastie). Late scratching. | Race 11 | IMPROVERS - HEAT 2 - C1q - 457 Heat 1 | Just The Don was a late scratching due to injury. Tiger Eyes was slow to begin and made up ground strongly for 3rd. Number One Gun missed the start by 4 lengths and was always at the rear thereafter. |
| Race 12 | CAMBRIDGE RACEWAY DASH - C4/5 - 375 | Winsome Guy jumped awkwardly and then made up ground well for 5th. Max's Millions and Hostile Arch came together for a stride on the first turn. Hypoumunga (favourite) was tightened and checked when racing on the rail on the first turn and again shortly after between Winsome Guy and He's Off. Hypoumunga and He's Off came together for a stride on the home turn. |

Spyridon Louis ran inwards at the start and came together with Gentle Lee (2nd). Golden Lobo ran very wide on the bend. Go Time Go appeared to be distressed after pulling up and was ordered to undergo a veterinary examination which detected exhaustion not requiring a stand down from racing.
