| Race 1 | ACCSYS FOR QUICKBOOKS - C1 - 525 | CAWBOURNE STEWY was a late scratching due to dehydration and an elevated temperature. SHONI'S LIGHT was badly checked between runners on the first corner, went back to the rear and never recovered. CAWBOURNE STEWY M.Gardner Rule 259 A late scratching when found to have an elevated temperature and dehydration and stood down for 5 days to and including 31.05.05. |
| Race 2 | 'CAPITAL TABS' - C3/4 - 525 | JANE DOE was badly checked on the first corner and fell but regained its feet and finished at the rear. The dog was not injured. |
| Race 3 | BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS - C1 - 295 | LISSADELL PRINCE, LADY MALONE and WHATA DUDE were all very slow to begin and settled back. The Judge called No 7 WINSOME TODD in 3rd place but then soon after corrected this to No 5 LISSADELL PRINCE and payment of dividends was quickly stopped at the T.A.B. However, some money was paid out before payment was stopped and the judge was then charged with negligence under Rule 135 (1) and he elected not to defend the charge and was fined $ 300-00. |

BUSTER ASSASSINE moved in on the first corner and checked UNO A WHISPER who then dropped back checking ICEYMORE and MATERIAL GIRL and they lost ground and were pushed wide on the bend. BOUND FOR CHINA D.Little Rule 259 Listless and off colour and was presented and stood down for 5 days to and including 28.05.05. |
| Race 5 | 'WGTN SOUTH TAB' - C1/2 - 295 | BONNIE CREEK was scratched due to suffering from gastroenteritis. SEASPRAY FOLLY was slow to begin and settled in last place. One of the favourites TIPPED TOP settled well back and then raced wide and finished near the rear. The dog appeared sore and was stood down for 7 days with a shoulder injury. BONNIE CREEK G & S Hayden-Holmes Rule 259 Suffering from gastroenteritis and was presented and stood down for 5 days to and including 28.05.05. TIPPED TOP S.Maher Rule 329 Suffered a shoulder injury and stood down for 7 days to and including 02.06.05. |

GO FAITH GO was handy into the first corner but was checked, went back to last and finished near the rear. BOSSY ACE was stood down for 7 days after being found to have a swollen and painful foreleg. | Race 8 | NZ BREEDERS STAKES - HEAT - R/Aq - 525 Heat 1 | FRANNY HALL and TEDDY HALL were scratched ex Manawatu on 25.05.05. The favourite SCOTTAGO was very slow to begin and then had traffic problems around the first bend and made contact with SCANDINAVIAN. SCOTTAGO then recovered to run on for 3rd place.
