Race 1	WELCOME STAKES - C4/5 - 505	SUNSET JEST and LADY LEAH were scratched due to injury. ASTRO NERONE was a late scratching due to a toenail injury. One of the favourites SOUTHBROOK STAR led in the early and middle stages but then faded out to finish in last place. A vets inspection was ordered and this cleared the dog of any injury. SUNSET JEST D.Garrett Rule 259 Has a tail injury and stood down for 14 days to and including 07.06.05. LADY LEAH D.Garrett Rule 259 Has a tendon injury and was presented and stood down for 7 days to and including 29.05.05. ASTRO NERONE L.Fornasiere Rule 259 A late scratching when found to have a toenail injury and presented and stood down for 5 days to and including 29.05.05.
Race 2	BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS WGTN - C4 - 297	JETSET TOKEN was scratched and is now deceased All clear.. JETSET TOKEN M.Beeson This dog is now deceased.
Race 3	ALBION TAVERN SHANNON - C1 - 297	MATERIAL GIRL, HOMEBUSH KERRY, BOUND FOR CHINA and IMAGE OF ISHBELL were all checked on the first corner and they lost all chance.
Race 4	AWAPUNI HOTEL MOTEL - C2 - 297	SEXY MOVER was checked and went back to last on the first corner. The dog was then observed to falter and dropped right out from the home turn. The vets examination found that the dog had suffered a metatarsal injury and was stood down for 30 days. SEXY MOVER S.Drysdale Rule 329 Suffered a serious metatarsal injury and stood down for 30 days to and including 24.06.05.
Race 5	OXFORD TRUST - C1 - 505	INSIDE BLUE was scratched after gaining a start in race 7. COMANCHE BRAVE was checked on the first turn and ran very wide losing all chance. ASTRO VIEW was checked on the last bend and went back to near the rear and stayed there. INSIDE BLUE W.Morris Gained a start in Race 7.
Race 6	PETER SINCLAIR PHOTOGRAPHER - C1/2 - 505	General tightening in the early stages stages resulted when outside runners moved in and inside runners moved out with MISS BLUE VELVET, TERRIFIC TEDDY and DUSTY NERO being the most affected.
Race 7	GOBIS CLUB BONUS SERIES - FINAL - RESf - 505	TEDDY HALL, FRANNY HALL and EMILIE ONE were all scratched due to kennel cough. All clear. TEDDY HALL , FRANNY HALL , EMILIE ONE A.Hall Rule 259 All suffering from kennel cough and stood down for 10 days to and including 03.06.05.
Race 8	NORTH ISLAND CHAMPIONSHIP FLAT - C5f - 505	HONEST BIRD and KOJAZZ ran very wide on the first bend and lost ground which they were unable to make up and they finished well back.
Race 9	BRISCOE'S PALM NRTH - C2/3 - 297	RALPH had to ease off the heels of HURRICANE FOG on the first corner and lost some ground as a result.
Race 10	OUTBACK TRADING PALM NRTH - C2/3 - 505	BLACK TIBET was scratched after gaining a start in race 7. MANAWA NUI, ASTRAKHAN and LATASHA were all scratched due to kennel cough. The favourite CALL ME CUTE was awkwardly placed in the early stages and went back a couple of places and never really recovered. BLACK TIBET J & J Tapiki Gained a start in race 7. MANAWA NUI , ASTRAKHAN , LATASHA. A.Hall Rule 259 All suffering from kennel cough and stood down for 10 days to and including 03.06.05.
