| Race 2 | BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS - C0 - 525 | THRILLING HOPE missed the start by several lengths and tailed the field throughout to finish last. It did not appear to have turned and no Box trial`was ordered. RUNNING TIGER ran wide on the first bend, covered extra ground and finished well back. |

| Race 6 | LOWER HUTT T.A.B - C0 - 295 | KAITOKE POWER and SHEZA DAIMLER began awkwardly and settled at the rear. GLORIAS MATE moved in on the first corner and checked AUK who stumbled and lost momentum . AUK recovered well to finish 2nd. |
| Race 7 | CANNONS CREEK T.A.B - C1 - 295 | PRINCE ZIDANE moved out on the bend to avoid the heels of another runner and in doing so forced ANGELICA, RUSTY COCONUT and MARGES GIRL wide on the track and they never recovered, filling the last four places. |
| Race 8 | PETONE T.A.B - C1 - 525 | One of the better supported runners SAMMY HAVOC received an interrupted run in the early and middle stages but when in the clear made up ground well for 5th place. |
| Race 9 | ANGLO UPHOLSTERERS - C1 - 525 | HE'S A BLUR was scratched and is now deceased. ASTRO SHARRIE and HOMEBUSH DIVA were tightened and checked on the first corner, went back to the rear and never recovered, finishing well back. TARTAN FLYER moved out to make a run on the home turn and bumped TEE BONE who lost momentum for a few strides. HE'S A BLUR L.Martin Now deceased. |
