Judicial report: Weather: Fine / Cold Trainers are advised that scratchings with no Veterinary Certificate and the only explanation being supplied .... 'will take 30 days'.. are not acceptable without full details of the reason / injury being conveyed to the Club Secretary at the time of scratching and to the Officiating Stipendiary Steward on track for his consideration.

| Race 1 | THOMAS WOOD PHOTOGRAPHY DASH - C1/2 - 375 | Jack Rhode was scratched ex AGRC held on 03.05.05 Bus Painter and King Of Dreams were slow to begin. Tartare Sauce and Robust Rock came together after 20 mtrs. Tartare Sauce clipped the heels of Velvot Revolver nearing the first turn with Charlston Flash also being checked in this incident. Charlston Flash and Linnymay were checked on the first turn. The 3rd placegetter Velvot Revolver was observed to shorten stride in the home straight and was ordered to undergo a Veterinary examination which detected no abnormalities. Jack Rhode (D.M.Smith). Stood down ex AGRC on 03.05.05. |
| Race 2 | T.A.B. PUMP & AUTOMOTIVE STAKES - C1 - 457 | Charlston Zoom was scratched due to gaining a start in Race 7. This race started 1 minute late due to a request from TAB Trackside. Inside Blue, Our Freddie and Christopher Bale drifted after the start. Dolly Poacher moved outwards on the first turn colliding with Inside Blue and then jostled with that runner for several strides. Charlston Zoom (D.Schofield). Gained a start in Race 7. |
| Race 3 | WWW.DOGTIPS.NET.NZ DASH - C1 - 375 | First Sample (favourite), Our Shereena and Parnell Jewel were slow to begin. Rawhiti Rogue (winner) moved inwards on the first turn which tightened and caused checks to itself, Camcaff, Parnell Jewel and First Sample. Parnell Jewel ran wide on the home turn severely hampering First Sample. |
| Race 4 | GOBIS CLUB BONUS SERIES - HEAT 1 - RESq - 457 Heat 1 | Thrilling Guy, Astra Nomacool and Heza Scallywag were slow to begin. Charlston Kid missed the start by 5 lengths. Heza Scallywag ran inwards nearing the first turn tightening Charlston Kid which made contact with the running rail and resulted in both runners being severely checked, losing all chance and finishing at the rear. |
| Race 5 | IMPROVERS DASH - C1 - 375 | Shezmy Scallywag was scratched due to gaining a start in Race 6. Tippy Soprano was a late scratching due to injury. Bedas Boy was reported to be slightly awkward to box. Bedas Boy and Baltasar were slow to begin. Miamigo and Peter Hand came together momentarily after the start. Miamigo, Peter Hand and Jumbo Flash were involved in general tightening on the first turn with all being checked. Baltasar was back early, showed speed to race up to be handy nearing the home turn, ran very wide losing valuable ground at a crucial stage of the race and ran on again to finish 4th. Shezmy Scallywag (C.A.Symes). Gained a start in Race 6. Tippy Soprano (M.P.Mann). Late scratching. Right biceps and bruising off-hind, probable minor tear of deep muscle. Vet certificate supplied. Inside Cover, This Time Boots and Thrilling May raced in tight quarters on the bend. Astro Doll (N.P.Green). Off-hind leg injury. No Vet certificate supplied. Krackem drifted to the rear soon after the start then faltered nearing the first turn finishing the race slowly and in distant last placing. A Veterinary examination was ordered which detected injuries requiring a stand down from racing. Kiwi Assassin ran outwards on the home turn carting Keen Precision very wide in the process. Blue Moon Magic (J & D Fahey). Strained right carpus. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259. 10 days up to and including 14.05.05. Krackem (D.van Meeuwen). Right hind soreness, deep hamstring and right hip support soreness. Rule 329. 10 days up to and including 15.05.05. |
| Race 8 | SUPERIOR GREYHOUND FORMULA SPRINT - C3/4 - 375 | Keenjackaroo was scratched due to injury. Charmaine Bale went down on her nose at the start and was also tightened between Corston Flyer and Ina Tizzy shortly after resulting in checks to all three runners. Charmaine Bale then made up ground strongly over the last 80 mtrs of the race to finish a close 5th. Keenjackaroo (W.Steele). Spike wound on left-hind foot. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259. 10 days up to and including 14.05.05. |
| Race 9 | THOMAS WOOD PHOTOGRAPHY STAKES - C4/5 - 457 | Thrilling Paul was slow to begin. Raheny Reason moved inwards towards the rail nearing the first turn severely checking itself and Hypoumunga. As a result of this incident Hypoumunga ran outwards checking Thrilling Paul. |
