Judicial report: Weather: Overcast / showers. Race 1. The trainer of Waitamo (D.L.Annette) was questioned regarding the racing manners of this greyhound which had displayed a tendency to run outwards on the bends causing interference to other runners. Mrs Annette advised that the greyhound had recovered from a previous shoulder muscle injury and agreed that running outwards is reasonably common in it's racing performances. Mrs Annette was advised to carry out a further examination of the previous shoulder muscle injury and that the greyhound's immediate racing manners will be closely monitored.

Race 15. N.P.Green (trainer) lodged an objection with the AGRC Judicial Committee prior to the commencement of the race meeting requesting that 'Thrilling Sam' be withdrawn from this race as in Mr Green's opinion his greyhound ' Our Madge' had been withdrawn / scratched improperly by the NZGRA.
The Judicial Committee declined his application for reasons and further details which are to be released in their report.
