Judicial report: Weather: Fine Race 1. The trainer of Number One Gun, J.B.Hastie, was questioned regarding the on-going tendency for this greyhound to begin slowly then run home strongly to invariably finish just outside the dividend bearing placings. Mr Hastie advised that he has and will continue to try and educate this greyhound to begin on equal terms with the rest of the field.

Race 1	ROYAL WOLF CONTAINERS DASH - C1 - 318	Togetherness was scratched due to illness. Number One Gun and Tandias Girl were slow to begin however Number One Gun did improve during the running. Velvot Revolver was denied racing room and was checked in tight quarters on the first bend with Goldfinger Jewel also being checked shortly after. Togetherness (H & L Laagland). Right ear infection requiring treatment. Swollen glands, slight fever and depression. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259. 10days up to and including 29.04.05.
Race 2	DENNY'S STAKES - C1 - 527	Hopplar, Rich And Blue and Flash Mistress were slow to begin.
Race 3	MEADOWSET GRAPHICS DASH - C1/2 - 318	Just Curly was scratched due to injury. Rock It Hound and Supreme Paragon came together after the start. Dr Dal Santo clipped the heels of and slightly checked Supreme Paragon entering the home straight with this runner recovering well to finish a close 4th. Just Curly (J.B.Hastie). Near-front wrist pain. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259. 10 days up to and including 28.04.05.
Race 4	TINT-A-CAR DASH - C1/2 - 318	Don Paulie was scratched ex Waikato GRC on 15.04.05. Our Freddie was a late scratching due to a family bereavement. Flying Tuskey and Just Hasty were slow to begin. Flying Tuskey made contact with the running rail on the first turn but was not inconvenienced greatly. Don Paulie (N.P.Green). Scratched ex Auckland GRC held on 15.04.05. Our Freddie (D.W.Mathews). Late withdrawal / scratching due to family bereavement. Rule 229. No penalty.
Race 5	COMMERCIAL PLUMBING STAKES - C1 - 527	Thrilling Cleo was a late scratching due to illness. Under Time and Bus Painter were slow to begin with the former recovering well for 4th. Under Time received a slight check on the first turn with Bus Painter being pushed wide in this incident. These runners also came together on the first bend. Thrilling Cleo (K.Walsh). Late scratching due to severe diarrhoea. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259. 10 days up to and including 29.04.05.
Race 6	TERRY KNIGHT FUTURITY - R/A - 527	Shady's Mate and Charlston Ghost were slow to begin. Shady's Mate endeavoured to push through a gap between runners on the first turn checking Willandra Bale. This incident caused Charlston Ghost to clip the heels of Willandra Bale and take evasive action by running very wide and losing ground then recovering well to finish 4th. Willandra Bale, Shady's Mate and Charlston Ghost raced in tight quarters at the rear of the field on the final bend with the latter then moving outwards slightly on the home turn which inconvenienced Tippy Soprano.
Race 7	JIMBO'S PETFOOD DASH - C3 - 318	Nasty Streak, Osbourne, Rumpole and Poetical came together after the start with all runners suffering checks. Winsome Dot and Farmer Benson jostled after 25 mtrs. Osbourne and Rumpole jostled from soon after the start until the first turn with neither improving in the running thereafter.
Race 8	STREETS ICE CREAM STAKES - C2/3 - 527	Cosmic Eclipse and Time Solves were slow to begin. Dark Sensation, Tiger Time and Coruba Storm came together after the start with all three suffering checks. Time Solves received a slight check on the first bend and then ran on very strongly to win well.
Race 9	RADIO PACIFIC DASH - C4/5 - 318	Jaiden Luke was scratched due to injury. Hypoumunga and Jessta Larrikin came together after the start suffering slight checks. Jessta Larrikin came in contact with the hind quarters of Just Too Hot in the home straight and was checked. Jaiden Luke (S.P.Clark). Near-side gracilis soreness. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259. 10 days up to and including 29.04.05.
Race 10	CAROL'S TAB STAKES - C4/5 - 527	Poco King and Trendy Rhode came together for a stride after the start. In the back straight Radford Reason appeared to falter and drop back quickly to last position severely checking Trendy Rhode in the process. Trendy Rhode drifted to the rear on the first bend and although checked by Radford Reason was always in a distant rear position. Post race Veterinary examinations were ordered for both Radford Reason and Trendy Rhode which detected injuries requiring a stand down from racing. Radford Reason (B & L Craik). Displaced fracture to left hock. Rule 329. 30 days up to and including 19.05.05. Trendy Rhode (W.Steele). Soreness in near front wrist and triceps. Rule 329. 10 days up to and including 29.04.05.
