Judicial report: Weather: Overcast JL Schierny was fined $100.00 for a breach of Rule 269(3).

Race 1	SOUTHERN FISH SUPPLY WELCOME - C0 - 390	MAXIMUM was slow to jump settling a clear last. Into the first bend MISTY METEOR and HOMEBUSH TONY came together before MISTY METEOR was hit by an improving MAXIMUM who checked outwards running wide. Into the first bend KING CURTIS ran wide when vying for the lead allowing HEAD PREFECT to rail up and win well from KING CURTIS. HOMEBUSH TONY ran on for fourth with MAXIMUM and MISTY METEOR finishing at the rear.
Race 2	ASCOT PARK SPRINT - C0 - 390	WHATA PLAN drove to the lead soon after the jump running away to win very easily. IN AWE OUT and IM THE BOSS came together into the first corner. Soon afterwards IN AWE OUT ran outwards and forced TRINITY CHARM wide. A charge under rule 322(1)(b) was preferred against IN AWE OUT and was stood down for a period of one month up to and including 14 May 2005. IN AWE OUT (RD Blackburn) Rule 322(1)(a) one month up to and including 14 May 2005.
Race 3	GLADSTONE CYCLES - C0 - 457	SOLITARY LIGHT was slow to jump settling near the rear before railing up around the bend to run on for second. SPOKIN THE WHEEL ran wide around the bend losing ground finishing fourth. DIDDLY SQUAT ran out soon after the jump impeding CELTIC WOLF who settled last before running on strongly over the concluding stages for third.
Race 4	PUTT AROUND THE ROCKS, AUCKLAND - C1 - 457	SAMMY HAVOC jumped clear from the boxes before being caught by the field into the first corner where he was clipped by ESCAPADE. SAMMY HAVOC ran on well for second with ESCAPADE fourth. TRINITY STORM ran wide around the bend losing all chance finishing last.
Race 5	WWW.DOGTIPS.NET.NZ - C1 - 390	OLD JOE was slow to jump settling last running on for fifth. MICROLITE drifted out soon after jumping settling at the rear before drifting out to finish a long last. A post race veterinary check revealed nothing amiss. The favourite DISCO FEVER settled midfield before forcing his way inside IDOLISE ME who was pushed out into the path of MINI SURPRISE who lost all chance finishing near the rear. DISCO FEVER ran on to win well.
Race 6	SOUTHLAND LASER THERAPY - C1 - 390	SAINT BEDE ran down towards the rail after jump checking dogs including KNOWLEDGE who hit the rail and bounced outwards into the path of HOSTILE BLUES and JEMALONG EASTERN falling as a result. KNOWLEDGE regained his feet finishing some distance behind the field. Soon after MULBERRY ROGUE forced HOMEBUSH HEATHER into the rail. HOMEBUSH HEATHER recovered before finishing brilliantly in the straight to beat CHASE THE BEST who had led for most of the race. Both KNOWLEDGE and HOMEBUSH HEATHER were subject to post race veterinary checks which revealed nothing amiss.
Race 7	COLORMARK PAINT & PLASTER - C1/2 - 457	SPIRIT OF OZARK drifted to last after jumping never improving. COMMMANDO JEWEL (JA McCook) deceased.
Race 8	$20 MUZZLE STAKES - C1 - 457	Into the first bend INCOGNITO struck DISCIPLINARIAN'S hindquarters both losing ground and finishing towards the rear.
Race 9	PICADILLY CAPERS - C1 - 390	BOUND FOR CHINA ran in sharply after jumping checking HALCYON HILL who in turn struck the rail around the first bend. LITEN THE LOAFER ran very wide losing all chance finishing at the rear with MISS BAILEY who stumbled on jumping from the boxes. HALCYON HILL was subject to a post race veterinary check which revealed no injury.
Race 10	SGRC SUPPLIES - C2/3 - 390	Into the first bend HOMEBUSH PHIL, SYDNEY'S LEGEND and TRINITY TONKA were checked from general tightening. Into the home straight MULBERRY FLASH ran outwards tightening HIGH FEVER who lost ground finishing last. WILD WHIZ (JL Schierny) was a late scratching at kennelling when found to be 1.6kgs under his last race weight. Rule 269(3). Trainer fined $100.00.
Race 11	GOBIS CLUB BONUS SERIES - FINAL - RESf - 457	POTENTIAL ROGUE was very slow to jump settling a clear last never improving.
Race 12	KELVIN HOTEL - C2/3 - 457	The favourite INDEFINITE drifted to the rear after jumping running on to finish fourth. BUCKS FOLDING lost ground around the bend drifting out to finish last. IRINKA BETTY (M&J Jopson) left shoulder injury. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 259. 10 days up to and including 23 April 2005.
