| Race 2 | ALBION TAVERN - C0 - 505 | KARAKA FLASH was checked twice in the first few strides, lost several lengths and tailed the field throughout. EARTHWIND ran very wide on the first corner and lost several lengths. |
| Race 3 | BOND AND BOND - C1 - 297 | RUSTY COCONUT was scratched Ex Manawatu on 06.04.05. SECRET PRINCE and HOMEBUSH SNIPPET were checked back to the rear on the first corner and never recovered. The winner ICEYMORE led into the bend but eased and dropped back a place before running on to win with ease.
