Race 3 | C.T.V STAKES - C2 - 520 | Around the first bend CLAN IVORY ran outwards checking ROSZEL BALE and RAZOR ROBERTSON. ROZSEL BALE ran on well in the straight for fourth with the other two finishing at the rear. |
Race 4 | DAVE EMERSON CONSULTANCY SPRINT - C4 - 295 | Into the first bend PACIFIC JAZZY, TULONGA LOAFER and JANE'S COMMANDO came together losing ground. PACIFIC JAZZY and JANE'S COMMANDO ran on for midfield with TULONGA LOAFER finishing last. MEET THE PARENTS lost his footing on jumping from the boxes settling a clear last before catching the field to finish seventh. |
Race 5 | PICK SIX LEG ONE - C2/3 - 520 | This race was delayed two minutes due to a false start in the preceding harness race at Avondale. Around the first bend FORCEFUL HABIT checked out off HOMEBUSH BILL colliding with BLUE FERN. They never recovered filling the last three places. |
Race 6 | GEORGE CALVERT CLEANING STAKES - C2/3 - 520 | This race was also delayed due to another false start at Aondale. RANDOM HARVEST, SATIN ANGEL and TREACHEROUS came together into the first bend, TREACHEROUS running on for third with the other finishing midfield. Into the back straight RAILROAD WARRIOR was tightened by DISCLOSE, both losing momentum. DISCLOSE finished second with RAILROAD WARRIOR fourth. FANTASY FAIR (GA Cleeve) pain left fore metacarpal. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 259. 14 days up to and including 28 March 2005. |
Race 7 | WILSONS SPORTS BAR & TAB SPRINT - C4 - 295 | HOMEBUSH LEO lost all chance when slow to jump finishing last. Around the first bend ASTON ACE and GRAND MOVER came together losing ground. They finished near the rear. |
Race 8 | EASTER BUNNY - C5 - 520 | MALEE JACK was slow to jump settling well back never improving. The favourite SLENDER MAREE drove to the lead into the first bend running away to win easily. |
Race 9 | BILLS BAR & BISTRO SPRINT - C2/3 - 295 | SYDNEY'S LEGEND drifted soon after jumping settling last. Into the first bend WHATA BUY and TRINITY TONKA came together coming back on SYDNEY'S LEGEND. They filled the last three places. |
Race 10 | CANTERBURY DRAUGHT SIX PACK - C5 - 295 | Into the first bend HAWK DREAMER and SOUTHBROOK STAR came together, HAWK DREAMER sustaining a bad check before being struck by HOMEBUSH BRIAN. Both dogs lost all chance filling the last two places. SOUTHBROOK STAR didn't lose ground finishing strongly in the straight to get up and win. |
