Race 1 BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS - C0 - 295 MISS REGGAE was scratched due to a seasonal complaint. KARAOKE PHIL was checked on the first corner and dropped back a couple of lengths. He received another check on the bend when racing onto the heels of CHEWCHEW FUDDLE and finished in last place. MIIS REGGAE T.Pilcher Rule 258 (3) In season and stood down for 30 days to and including 05.04.05.
Race 2 SPICERS PAPER DASH - C2 - 295 MYSTIC DANCER was a late scratching due to a bee sting. HOMEBUSH BLAZE and MISS CHEEKY were slow to begin and filled the last two places at the finish. MYSTIC DANCER P.Nicholls Rule 259 Suffered from a bee sting and late scratched and stood down for 3 days to and including 10.03.05.
Race 3 ANGLO UPHOLSTERERS - C1 - 295 WHATA DARLING and WAIMARIE collided on the first corner and lost ground,. dropped out to the rear and they stayed back.
Race 4 ACCYSY FOR QUICKBOOKS - C1 - 525 TOKEN SNIPER was a late scratching due to being underweight and the Trainers were fined $ 100-00 under Rule 269 (3). DUSTY'S EDITION appeared to turn its head and move out on the first but this could not be conclusively established. DUSTY'S EDITION then dropped out to finish several lengths last and was examined by the vet, found to have a toe injury and stood down for 30 days. TOKEN SNIPER J & J Tapiki Rule 269 (3) Late scratching due to being underweight. No stand down but the Trainers were fined $ 100-00. DUSTY'S EDITION L.Fornasiere Rule 329 Suffered a toe injury and stood down for 30 days to and including 07.04.05.
Race 5 PLAY SOCCER FOR STOP OUT - C1 - 295 MICRO LITE was scratched Ex Addington on 04.03.05. BRACES MY DEAR and CECILIA BRIAN collided soon after the start was made and both were turned sideways. They both lost ground and never recovered. MICRO LITE J.Busch Ex Addington on 04.03.05.
Race 6 B & P ENGINEERING STAKES - C2/3 - 525 LATASHA was scratched Ex Wanganui 03.03.05. The race was all clear. LATASHA A.Hall Ex Wanganui on 03.03.05.
Race 7 AUTO AUCTIONS DASH - C3/4 - 295 This race was started 2 minutes late at the request of the T.A.B. and this was to accomadate the Harness meeting in Auckland. The favourite BOSSY ACE was checked and fell on the first corner and GINGER TYLER ran into the fallen dog and was badly checked, lost several lengths and all chance. BOSSY ACE was checked by the vet and cleared of any injuries.
Race 8 EL CHEAPO CARS - C1 - 525 RAGTIME REASON tailed the field home by several lengths and was examined by the vet and cleared of any injuries.
