Judicial report: Weather: Overcast Trainer S.P.Mann was questioned by the Stipendiary Steward in relation to an incident which occurred at the Waikato and Districts GRC race meeting held on 04.03.05.

Race 1	STREETS ICE CREAM DASH - C0 - 318	Legal Edition was scratched due to gaining a start in Race 3. The favourite Supreme Rose was handy early then drifted out to finish last. Watch My Spot, Billy The Lad, Ima Freeman and Iron Woman came together after the start with all of these runners receiving checks as a result. Ima Freeman and Iron Woman were involved in a bumping duel around the bend. Legal Edition (G.A.Lawrence). Gained a start in Race 3.
Race 2	TINT-A-CAR DASH - C1 - 318	Bedas Boy was boxed first due to a current 'Hard to Box' categorisation and was observed and reported to be awkward to box. Rock It Hound, Charlston Flash and First Sample and came together after 20 mtrs. Linnymay was tightened and checked between Bedas Boy and First Sample nearing the first turn with the favourite, First Sample, being pushed outwards and checked as well. Linnymay and First Sample jostled on the bend.
Race 3	RADIO PACIFIC MAIDEN FINAL - C0f - 527	Thrilling Dash was scratched due to injury. Running Tiger was scratched due to illness. Mr Chad was slow to begin and was always at the rear thereafter. Charlston Ghost jumped awkwardly. Charlston Ghost and Hopplar came together and then in a chain reaction Hopplar galloped on the heels of Iza Dance after 15 mtrs with all of these runners receiving checks in this incident. Thrilling Cleo was wide early, stayed wide on the first bend and covered extra ground then made up lost ground well to finish 5th. Thrilling Dash (K.Walsh). Sprained off-side tarsus. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259. 10 days up to and including 16.03.05. Running Tiger (S.P.Clark). Diarrhoea. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259. 3 days up to and including 09.03.05.
Race 4	TOP NOSH DASH - C1 - 318	Time Over Boots was scratched due to injury. Tandias Girl missed the start by 4 lengths. Hurricane Cove and Hypo Spencer came together for a stride nearing the first turn. Hurricane Cove and Leslies Pearl jostled on the bend. Tandias Girl was tightened and severely checked between Hurricane Cove and Leslies Pearl on the bend. Time Over Boots (D.Schofield). Hip support muscle soreness. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259. 10 days up to and including 16.03.05.
Race 5	COCA-COLA SPRINT - C1f - 318	Tippy Soprano was scratched due to injury. Certainly drifted slightly after the start. No Invitation, Charlston Zoom and Charlston Chill bumped after 25 mtrs. Charlston Time and Charlston Chill came together after 60 mtrs. Charlston Time and Maxi The Taxi came together nearing the first turn with both runners receiving slight checks. Tippy Soprano (M.P.Mann). Near-side hind leg muscle strain. No Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259.3. 30 days up to and including 05.04.05.
Race 6	NORTHERN DIGITAL PHOTOFINISH STAKES - C0 - 527	Bet She Can and Devil In Me were slow to begin. Hove Dale ran inwards after the start causing tightening and checks to itself, Johnnies Luck and Bonnie Token after 50 mtrs. Bonnie Token and Bet She Can came together nearing the first turn with the latter being checked. Hove Dale galloped on the heels of Rythmic Finale on the first turn with Hove Dale then moving outwards slightly and taking the path of Gone Tibet causing all of these runners to be severely checked with Hove Dale and Gone Tibet ending up on the outside of the track and losing all chance. Thrilling Mark (G.E.Harding). Gained a start in Race 3.
Race 7	CAROL'S TAB DASH - C2/3 - 318	Don Paulie was slow to begin and then commenced a strong run through the field. Overload was tightened and checked between Ina Tizzy and Just Curly on the first turn. Don Paulie and Kaimai Gold came together on the first turn with Don Paulie being checked and coming back onto Miss Tracey Lee which was severely checked and in a chain reaction came back onto and severely checked Peter Hand. Just Curly and Kaimai Gold came together on the bend with Just Curly being severely checked and losing 4 lengths then coming back onto Peter Hand which was hampered.
Race 8	MEADOWSET GRAPHICS DASH - C3 - 318	Rumpole and Hypoumunga were slow to begin. Dudley Dersley drifted soon after the start and never improved finishing a distant last. This runner was ordered to undergo a Veterinary examination which detected an injury requiring a stand down from racing. Hypoumunga and Rumpole came together nearing the first turn with both suffering checks. Flying Tuskey was also checked slightly in this incident. Go Tyler Go remained very wide throughout. Dudley Dersley (G.C.Farrell). Near-side gracilus muscle injury. Rule 329. 30 days up to and including 06.04.05. (Registration papers to be presented to Stipendiary Steward for endorsement).
Race 9	CATERING PROFESSIONALS STAKES - C1 - 527	Destiny's Run was scratched due to illness. Baltasar was slow to begin then raced to lead on the first turn and won well. Little Pressy ran inwards at the start causing serious tightening and checks to all runners. Destiny's Run (S.P.Clark). Diarrhoea. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259. 3 days up to and including 10.03.05.
Race 10	ROYAL WOLF CONTAINERS DASH - C4/5 - 318	Tarrah was slow to begin. Bingo Appeal and Lucky Lipinski came together on the home turn.
Race 11	INTERDOMINION STAKES - C2 - 527	Sharpshooter missed the start by 5 lengths and never improved thereafter. Duran Duran and Time Solves and then Duran Duran and Rollover Angel collided on the first turn with all three runners being checked. Time Solves ran on to finish 4th.
