Judicial report: Weather: Fine Trainer K.E.Lomas expressed concern about the number of on-track injuries sustained by his greyhounds in recent weeks and his opinion on how those injuries could have been caused. Following discussion the Stipendiary Steward consulted the Starter about the matter who undertook to pursue it.
Race 10. Little Toot has been removed form the 'Hard to Box' categorisation effective immediately.
Trainers are again reminded of Rule 394 'Notification of Death' which requires the return of the deceased greyhound's registration certificate to the NZGRA within 7 days.

Race 1	STREETS ICE CREAM DASH - C0 - 318	Justa Half Pint was boxed first due to a current 'Hard to Box' categorisation and was observed to be difficult. Wairangi Bay was observed to be difficult to box and was slow to begin. Not You ran outwards at the start checking Supreme Rose. Iron Woman and Not You came together after 30mtrs. Iron Woman was checked off the heels of Hove Dale on the first turn. Supreme Rose moved inwards on the first turn checking Not You. Wairangi Bay cut across the heels of Waitomo on the bend and lost several lengths. Justa Half Pint was ordered to undergo a Veterinary examination after the race which revealed a shoulder injury requiring a stand down from racing. Justa Half Pint (K.Braithwaite). Lameness due to near-side shoulder joint injury. Rule 329. 7 days up to and including 24.02.05.
Race 2	ROYAL WOLF CONTAINERS DASH - C0 - 318	Supreme Diva ran inwards after 10mtrs severely checking Mr Chad, Schultz and Smylie Smith. Schultz tried to move to the rail after the start and jostled with and checked Smylie Smith several times prior to the first turn.
Race 3	TINT-A-CAR STAKES - C1 - 527	Booming Time was scratched due to injury. Bit Of Grit and Pauly were slow to begin. Bus Painter was checked from behind by Full Force Gale after 20 mtrs. Full Force Gale ran inwards nearing the first turn severely checking and extinguishing the chances of Bit Of Grit, Justa Toff and Splicklez. Splicklez was then inconvenienced behind Bit Of Grit on the Bend. Booming Time (R.P.O'Regan). Off-hind pad injury. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259. 10 days up to and including 26.02.05.
Race 4	COCA COLA DASH - C1 - 318	Jolly Buffy was scratched due to injury. Tandias Girl, Bubba Hotep and Achieve A Dream were slow to begin. Grasscutter Bob moved outwards on the bend checking Smooth Harry which in turn also ran outwards forcing Bubba Hotep to cover extra ground. Jolly Buffy (G. Calverley). Stopper pad injury. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259. 5 days up to and including 21.02.05.
Race 5	CATERING PROFESSIONALS DASH - C1 - 318	The favourite Hypo Spencer ran inwards after the start severely checking Our Polar which in a chain reaction checked Togetherness. Tiger Time and Rock It Hound came together after the start. No Invitation, Our Shereena and Rock It Hound were involved in general tightening on the first turn with Our Shereena being severely checked and losing all chance.
Race 6	MEADOWSET GRAPHICS STAKES - C2 - 527	Mo Mistress was slow to begin. Goldfinger, Comical Ali, Chesnut Bale and Mo Mistress were involved in general tightening on the first turn. Stylus galloped on the hind quarters of Chestnut Bale on the first bend checking that runner. Bibiana Bale was forced wide in this incident.
Race 7	DENNY'S DASH - C2 - 318	Sonny Boy Jones was slow to begin. Boot's Last moved outwards after 60mtrs which forced Just The Don and Ina Tizzy to come together resulting in Ina Tizzy losing it's balance then falling heavily and losing all chance. Ina Tizzy was ordered to undergo a post race Veterinary examination which detected no injury. Boot's Last ran out sharply on the first turn which hampered Sonny Boy Jones, Stock Broker and Hello Darling.
Race 8	CAROL'S TAB SPRINT FEATURE - C3 - 318	Dudley Dersley was slow to begin. Astro Doll, Osbourne and Poetical came together after the start. Poetical ran inwards after 25mtrs checking itself in the process then hampering Astro Doll and Osbourne.
Race 9	RADIO PACIFIC STAKES - C3/4 - 527	Bingo Appeal was scratched due to injury. Winsome Guy was slow to begin. Follow Me Frosty and Rivette Reason jostled on the first turn with the latter moving outwards and bumping Trendy Rhode which also moved outwards checking Cosmic Eclipse. Winsome Guy was forced to take evasive action in this incident by running very wide. Bingo Appeal (D. Van Meeuwen ). Near-side shoulder muscle injury. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259. 10 days up to and including 25.02.05.
Race 10	COMMERCIAL PLUMBING DASH - C4/5 - 318	This race started 1 minute late due to a request from TAB Trackside. Little Toot was boxed first due to a current 'Hard to Box' categorisation and was observed to box without difficulty. China's Fire missed the start by 3 lengths. Arnies First ran inwards after the start checking Jaiden Luke and Kiwi Fire. Tarrah and Jaiden Luke came together after 60 mtrs.
