Judicial report: Weather: Fine HOMEBUSH EDWARD Rule 269 (3) 2.6 Kilograms underweight and a late scratching. The Trainer S.Glockling was fined $ 100-00 under the same rule.
CHATHAM LASS S.Glockling. Rule 322 Failed to persue the lure and stood down for one month to and including 18.03.05. Also required to trial under Rule 179 (1)

Race 1	FOXTON HOTEL HURDLES - C1h - 505	ARANUI TUI was awkwardly placed in a tight position at the 2nd hurdle and fell. She was checked by the vet and cleared of injury. MISS CHEEKY clipped the heels of COMMANDO JEWEL entering the back straight and fell. She caught a fore foot in the muzzle when falling and pulled up at that point.She was checked by the vet and found to be suffering from bruising and stood down for 7 days. SMOKIE finished several lengths last and appeared sore so was examined by the vet and cleared of injury. MISS CHEEKY S.Gardner Rule 329 Fell and suffered slight bruising and stood down for 7 days to and including 24.02.05.
Race 2	BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS SPRINT - C0 - 297	CHATHAM LASS was handy early in the race but eased right up on the first corner and went back checking JOMAGAMATE, NGAPUHI BOY and the hot favourite BEST TELL BRIAN who then recovered to finish in 3rd place. CHATHAM LASS was stood down for one month under Rule 322 and is required to trial under Rule 179 before its next start. CHATHAM LASS S.Glockling Rule 322 Failed to persue and stood down for one month to and including 18.03.05. Also required to trial under Rule 179 (1).
Race 3	PETER SINCLAIR PHOTOGRAPHER STAKES - C0 - 505	CANONGATE and UTIKU SMILES were scratched due to injury. The first reserve NOOKOMAI was scratched Ex Manawatu on 15.02.05. DEVIL IN ME clipped a heel and stumbled on the first corner and stayed at the rear for the remainder of the race.. CANONGATE O.Marron Rule 259 Suffering from shoulder soreness and stood down for 10 days to and including 27.02.05. UTIKU SMILES J.Joslin Rule 259 Suffering from a webbing injury and stood down for 14 days to and including 03.03.05. NOOKOMAI Ex Manawatu on 15.02.05.
Race 4	ALBION TAVERN SHANNON SPRINT - C1 - 297	INADMISSIBLE was scratched due to injury. TINKAMORE was checked at the start and settled at the rear. She recovered to run 4th. INADMISSABLE C.Morris Rule 259 Suffering from a cut leg and stood down for 10 days to and including 26.02.05.
Race 5	KIA TOA MAIDEN SPRINT FINAL - C0f - 297	PIZZA BAD BOY was scratched Ex Manawatu on 15.02.05 HOKIO STAR moved out from the rail on the first corner and this resulted in checks to HURRICANE CULLY who was the most affected, ARANUI FLASH and MISS TONSBERG and they lost all chance and finished well back. PIZZA BAD BOY Ex Manawatu on 15.02.05.
Race 6	HELL'S PIZZA FINAL - C0f - 505	ORBRIGADO ran on the back of ARANUI TAMY on the first corner and they both almost fell, losing all chance and they finished at the rear.
Race 7	AWAPUNI HOTEL MOTEL SPRINT - C1 - 297	LAST TRAM was scratched Ex Manawatu on 15.02.05. The race was all clear. LAST TRAM Ex Manawatu on 15.02.05.
Race 8	OXFORD TRUST STAKES - C1 - 505	UTIKU ROCKS was scratched Ex Manawatu on 15.02.05. The favourite REBECCA'S PAL was handy early in the race but was checked back to last on the first corner, never recovered and tailed the field home. JUNIOR RHODES ran wide on the first bend and was then checked back to last entering the back straight. He recovered to make some ground in the final stages. UTIKU ROCKS Ex Manawatu on 15.02.05.
Race 9	MANAWATU SECURITY SERVICES STAKES - C1 - 505	HOMEBUSH EDWARD was a late scratching when found to be 2.6 kilograms underweight and the Trainer was Fined $ 100-00 under Rule 269 (3). TORAH BALE was scratched Ex Manawatu on 15.02.05. UTIKU ROLLS stood in the boxes when they opened and he lost several lengths and all chance of gaining a placing. Race 10	COURTESY FORD STAKES - C3/4 - 505	SON OF SARABI was a late scratching when found to have a toe injury. SAVIOLA was scratched due to injury. FANTASY SHIFTER was scratched Ex Manawatu on 15.02.05. FERRIS BALE was the slowest away and then ran very wide on the first corner and lost ground. CRYPTIC appeared off stride going around the bends and eventually finished in last place. He was examined by the vet and stood down for 30 days with a toe injury. SON OF SARABI G.Frost Rule 259 A late scratching due to a toe injury and stood down for 30 days to and including 19.03.05. SAVIOLA O.Marron Rule 259 Suffering from shoulder soreness ans stood down for 10 days to and including 27.02.05. FANTASY SHIFTER Ex Manawatu on 15.02.05. CRYPTIC G.Frost Rule 329 Suffered a toe injury and stood down for 30 days to and including 19.03.05.
Race 11	SUPERIOR KIBBLE SPRINT - C2/3 - 297	PHAEDRA was checked on the bend and lost a little ground but then recovered to finish quickly for 2nd placing.
Race 12	MANAWATU SOUND SERVICE - C2 - 297	IMA LITTLE ROWDY was scratched due to injury. CATERING KING was scratched Ex Manawatu on 15.02.05. The race was all clear. IMA LITTLE ROWDY D.Symes Rule 259 Suffering from a leg injury and stood down for 14 days to and including 02.03.05. CATERING KING Ex Manawatu on 15.02.05.
