Judicial report: Weather: Hot / Humid Race 4. Ewenique (R.Matiu). Rule 179.1 imposed. Satisfactory Trial required prior to nomination.
Race 6. Gentle Lee (W.Steele). Rule 179.1 imposed. Satisfactory Trial required prior to nomination.
Race 10. Following this race the Head Kennel Steward reported to the Stipendiary Steward an incident involving trainer G.A.Lawrence which took place in the parade ring prior to the field parading to the start. As a consequence an inquiry was opened with the Judicial Committee ( B.O'Rourke) under Rule 123.8 and was adjourned until the next race meeting to be held on 23.02.05 to allow for further investigation by the Stipendiary Steward.
Trainer K.Walsh was reminded to present the registration papers and race record card to the Stipendiary Steward for the endorsement applicable to the scratching of Fashion Victim at the AGRC held on 28.01.05.
Reference is made to the Judicial Report for the race meeting held on 26.01.05. and investigation pending into a matter involving trainer N.P.Green. The Stipendiary Steward has now considered all information available and decided that no further action is warranted on this occasion.

| Race 1 | HAMILTON HURDLES - C1/2h - 457 | Shaka Malawi and Rebel Izmir were slow to begin. Rebel Izmir remained wide early and jumped hesitantly near the rear throughout. Gone Troppo and Shaka Malawi clipped the hurdles in the home straight. The favourite Gone Troppo was ordered to undergo a veterinary examination which revealed an injury requiring a 7 day stand down from racing. Gone Troppo ( B.J.Jordan). | Race 2 | MANUKAU DASH - C0 - 375 | Billy The Lad and Bluemoon were slow to begin. Lichfield Lizzy ran outwards at the start and collided with Supreme Rebel. Lichfield Lizzy, Kimster and Our Freddie jostled nearing the first turn with the latter receiving a slight check. |
| Race 3 | MATANGI SPRINT - C0 - 375 | Miss Tonsberg ran outwards and Lois Hond inwards at the start tightening Supreme Rose which lost 2 lengths as a result. Legal Edition ran in sharply to the rail after the start which hampered Lois Hand, Miss Tonsberg and Hang On Mate. |
| Race 4 | DUNEDIN DASH - C0 - 375 | Supreme Diva, Ewenique, Super Deal and Mr Chad collided after the start and all received checks. Ngapuhi Girl moved outwards on the bend and collided with the hind quarters of Super Deal which was checked. Ewenique which raced hesitantly and failed to stretch out, faded out to finish a long last. This runner was required to undergo a Veterinary examination which detected no injury and was consequently ordered to complete a Satisfactory Trial prior to being nominated to race. |
| Race 5 | IMPROVERS STAKES - C1 - 457 | Token Sniper jumped awkwardly and lost a length. The favourite Thrilling Faith was squeezed and checked between Charlston State and Token Sniper prior to the first turn and ran on again to finish 5th. Token Sniper drifted out after this incident to finish last. |
| Race 6 | CAMBRIDGE MAIDEN SPRINT FINAL - C0 - 375 | Justa Half Pint was boxed first due to a current 'Hard to Box' categorisation and was observed to box with minor difficulty. Charlston Kid and Baltasar were slow to begin. Gentle Lee ran very wide on the home turn carting Baltasar to the outside edge of the track with both runners losing all chance. Gentle Lee was consequently ordered to complete a Satisfactory Trial prior to being nominated to race. |
| Race 7 | BASIL FAULTY RETIREMENT DASH - C1 - 375 | Kath was scratched due to injury The favourite King Of Dreams missed the start by 4 lengths and made up ground well to finish 4th. Tandias Girl was slow to begin. Bubba Hotep and Certainly came together on the first turn and again on the bend. Kath (A.Cleaver). Near-side shoulder and lateral triceps soreness. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259. 10 days up to and including 16.02.05. |
| Race 8 | RACEWAY MAIDEN - C0 - 457 | Indefinite was scratched due to injury. Charlston Ghost was scratched due to injury. Triway was scratched due to communication difficulties. Tent Top and Aranui Mist came together after the start with Tent Top being checked as a result. Tent Top, Aranui Mist and Hove Dale raced in tight quarters nearing the first turn with Hove Dale receiving a slight check and showing no improvement thereafter. Charlston Ghost (D.Schofield). Torn off-side lateral triceps. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259. 14 days up to and including 19.02.05. Indefinite (J & D Fahey). Polydipsic. Vet certificate supplied. | Race 9 | TAMAHERE DASH - C1 - 375 | Togetherness, Jack Rhode and Kaimai Gold were slow to begin. Our Polar stumbled at the start. |
| Race 10 | CLUB HOUSE CAFE & SPORTS BAR STAKES - C1/2 - 457 | Four Square and Tartare Sauce came together several times prior to the first turn. Four Square and Thrilling Merc collided on the first turn with both runners being checked. Tartare Sauce was denied racing room on the inside of Thrilling Merc on the bend. |
| Race 11 | RAGLAN SPRINT - C1/2 - 375 | This Time Boots ran outwards and Ina Tizzy inwards at the start which tightened and checked Smooth Harry. |

Winsome Mate and Charmaine Bale came together after 50mtrs. Winsome Mate was tightened and checked between Big Teddy Boy and Run To Paradise on the first turn. Glenmire (G.N.Pomeroy). | Race 13 | TAUWHARE SPRINT - C3/4 - 375 | This raced started 1 minute late due to a request from TAB Trackside. Bahama Bale was scratched due to injury. Sparkling Lights and Willandra Bale were slow to begin. Bahama Bale (G.N.Pomeroy). Split hind web. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259. 14 days up to and including 19.02.05. |
| Race 14 | SUPERIOR GREYHOUND FORMULA STAKES - C4/5 - 457 | Radford Reason ran inwards to the rail after the start checking Fancy Style, Winsome Raider and Mr Pollywaffle. Radford Reason moved inwards on the first turn causing Mr Pollywaffle to be pushed onto the running rail and then falling when Bingo Appeal galloped over the top of it. As a result of this interference Bingo Appeal ran to the outside of the track and stayed wide for 30mtrs. Mr Pollywaffle was ordered to undergo a Veterinary examination which detected no injury. |
