Judicial report: Weather: Overcast /Showers / Humid The Judicial Steward and Stipendiary Steward were approached by several trainers seeking clarification on the scratchings of Accord ( Race7 ) and Disclose ( Race 8 ). They were informed of the reason for the scratchings and the policy being applied by the NZGRA in relation to the matter.
Trainers are reminded that under Rule 259.3 Veterinary certificates in support of scratchings where the greyhound is not presented to the officiating Veterinary Surgeon on the day must be supplied to the Stipendiary Steward / Club within 48 hours of the start of the applicable race meeting otherwise a 30 day stand down from racing will be applied without further consultation with the trainer.

Race 1	TINT-A-CAR DASH - C1 - 318	Miss Jade was scratched due to injury. Tandias Girl, Grasscutter Bob and Bubba Hotep were slow to begin. Grasscutter Bob, Dr Dal Santo and Tandias Girl came together after the start and were checked. Tandias Girl galloped on the heels of Grasscutter Bob nearing the first turn with both runners being checked as a result. Kaimai Gold and Bubba Hotep came together for a stride on the first turn. Bubba Hotep endeavoured to move to a wider running position on the bend by cutting across the heels of Togetherness and lost 2 lengths in the process. Miss Jade (K.Braithwaite). Hock strain. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259. 14 days up to and including 15.02.05.
Race 2	STREETS ICE CREAM STAKES - C1 - 527	Browning Bale and First Sample were slow to begin. Mo Mistress ran inwards at the start checking First Sample. Mo Mistress ran out on the home turn checking Charlston Time.
Race 3	COMMERCIAL PLUMBING DASH - C1/2 - 318	Stooge was scratched due to injury. Kath was slow to begin and never improved. Ina Tizzy ran inwards at the start checking Smooth Harry and Tiger Time. Tiger Time and Just Curly came together after 25mtrs. Just Curly was checked from behind by Corston Flyer after 50mtrs. Easter Man jostled with Just Curly nearing the first turn with Easter Man then drifting out to finish a long last. A Veterinary examination was ordered which revealed a fractured hock requiring a stand down from racing. Tiger Time and Ina Tizzy collided on the first turn with both runners being severely checked. Stooge (N.P.Green). Off-hind hock strain. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259. 10 days up to and including 12.02.05. Easter Man (K.E.Lomas). Fractured hock. Rule 329. 30 days up to and including 05.03.05.
Race 4	MEADOWSET GRAPHICS STAKES - C1/2 - 527	Miss Teddy Bear was slow to begin. Trendy Time, Bibiana Bale, Stabila Boss and Nirimba Assassin raced in tight quarters nearing the first turn. Chestnut Bale was checked from behind by Miss Teddy Bear nearing the first turn. Chestnut Bale and Miss Teddy Bear collided on the first bend with Chestnut Bale being severely checked and in a chain reaction checked Den Of Fire. Nirimba Assassin was galloped on from behind by Den Of Fire on the first bend. Overload (M.P.Mann). Near-side shoulder soreness and flexor tendon below the wrist strain. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259. 14 days up to and including 15.02.05.
Race 5	COCA COLA DASH - C1/2 - 318	Don Paulie was slow to begin. The entire field with the exception of Angel Eyes was involved in general tightening and jostling from the start until the first turn with Osbourne, Telescopic Lass and Sonny Boy Jones receiving severe checks at various stages. Telescopic Lass and Don Paulie also collided on the bend.
Race 6	TOP NOSH DASH - C3 - 318	Farmer Benson was scratched due to injury. Flying Tuskey and Just Hasty were slow to begin. Mr Bell and Parra Power came together nearing the first turn. Farmer Benson (B & L Craik). Broken toe. No Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259.3. 30 days up to and including 04.03.05.
Race 7	NZ SIRES PRODUCE STAKES - HEAT 1 - R/Aq - 527 Heat 1	Accord was scratched on the direction of the NZGRA / AGRC. He's A Blur and Honky Tonk Lord were slow to begin. Scottalot ran inwards after the start checking itself , He's A Blur and Sally's Delight. Thrilling Duke, Honky Tonk Lord and Dark Sensation collided on the first turn and as a result Honky Tonk Lord was forced wide. He's A Blur, Bankside Go Go and Scottalot came together momentarily on the first bend. Accord (J.T.McInerney). NZGRA / AGRC instructed scratching due ineligibility under Rule 225.
Race 8	NZ SIRES PRODUCE STAKES - HEAT 2 - R/Aq - 527 Heat 1	Disclose was scratched on the direction of the NZGRA / AGRC. Sally's Delight was scratched due to gaining a start in Race7. Under Time and Destiny's Run were slow to begin. Destiny's Run was galloped on from behind and checked by Under Time on the first turn. Shady's Mate pushed through on the inside of Bankside Bella nearing the back straight inconveniencing the latter. Krackem was denied racing room on the inside of Bronnie Bolta for 100mtrs out of the back straight and on the final bend. Light Pockets galloped on the heels of Shady's Mate on the final bend when near the lead, causing both runners to lose their chance. Shady's Mate was ordered to undergo a Veterinary examination however this did not take place due to a misunderstanding. Disclose (J.T.McInerney). NZGRA / AGRC instructed scratching due ineligibility under Rule 225. Sally's Delight ( L.D.Martin). Gained a start in Race 7.
Race 9	RADIO PACIFIC STAKES - C3/4 - 527	Shooshla was scratched due to injury. Rhani Reason was slow to begin and never recovered to finish last. Nasty Streak and Poco King came together after the start . Mr Blackout and Lindale Express came together after the start and jostled into the first turn. Shooshla (S.P.Clark). Injury. No Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259.3. 30 days up to and including 05.03.05. ( Registration papers and race record card to be produced to the Stipendiary Steward for endorsement).
Race 10	EGH INTERNET GREYHOUNDS DASH - C3/4 - 318	Let Me moved inwards to the rail on the first turn tightening and checking Bahama Bale. Flash Shooter moved outwards on the bend forcing Winsome Dot to cover extra ground.
