For authenticity reasons Veterinary Certificates not bearing one of the above will no longer be accepted.
Race 3. Trainer R.A.McPhee was reminded of the requirements in relation to the parading of greyhounds once they reach the track until they arrive at the starting point and in particular compliance with Rule 135.10. The parade manners of the greyhound Pizza Bad Boy are to be monitored so as to determine the extent of difficulty.
Race 8. Trainer N.P.Green was questioned by the Judicial Steward regarding his not using the designated (due to hot climatic conditions) pre race parade area. Following the discussion and upon further instruction from both the Judicial Steward and Kennel Steward, Mr Green complied and further investigation of the matter is pending.
Race 10. Following this race the Starter reported that Awesome Enforcer had been difficult to box and also at it's previous race start. The handler of this greyhound was subsequently advised by the Stipendiary Steward to recommend to the Trainer that consideration be given to requesting a 'Hard to Box' assessment by Stewards.
Handlers are again reminded that orderly pre race parades to the race starting point are crucial to a professional image being portrayed to both Trackside viewers and on-course patrons and this is why a consistently strong emphasis is placed on them. Your co-operation in ensuring that the best possible visual impression is achieved is therefore required and appreciated.
