| Race 4 | TRAINERS MAIDEN CUP HEAT 2 - C0q - 525 Heat 1 | The field caught the lure with a circuit to run when the lure lost power and stopped. The runners were examined by the vet and all except ARANUI SPEEDY were cleared as fit to start in the rerun race. The lure was run and checked and the race started several minutes late. ARANUI SPEEDY had suffered lacerations to a cheek when the field caught the lure and was stressed and unfit to start and was stood down for 7 days. No time was taken for the race due to reasons which have not been clearly established. ARANUI SPEEDY M.Boyd Rule 259 Suffered from lacerations at the lure and unable to start in the re-run race.
