Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: Weather: Overcast Race 1. The trainer information for Bus Painter shown in the racebook was incorrect and should be D.L.Annette (same as Owner) not A.C.Roberts. This error has been conveyed to the NZGRA for amendment.
Race 4. Farmer John was observed to be wearing the wrong rug number in the preliminary and this was changed to the correct number prior to the start. The Judicial Steward investigated the reason for the error and the explanations from the Handler and Kennel Stewards' were accepted.
No Race day injuries were reported despite several races in which there was major interference.
'Head On' video coverage from TAB Trackside for Races 1 to 4 was not made available until after Race 4. Concerns were expressed to the Trackside on-course Manager about this and guaranteed availability was restored via a different relay to the Stipendiary Steward's room.
