Race 1 PEDIGREE ADVANCE STAKES - C1 - 520 HOMEBUSH PHIL led until the home turn but then faded and finished in 4th place. IDOLISE ME and STYLISH LOVER collided on the bend and lost momentum for a few strides.
Race 2 BARRY GURDLER SAND SUPPLIES SPRINT - C1 - 295 HOMEBUSH SAM moved out in the back straight and checked HOMEBUSH COYOTE and ROLLEN and they lost several lengths and all chance.
Race 3 ALPHA PROCESSING SPRINT - C1 - 295 The favourite JACK WEBBER was the slowest away but made up ground well to finish 2nd.
Race 4 PEGASUS BAY MOTORS SPRINT - C0 - 295 SUPER TOMMY and HOMEBUSH TRUMP collided approaching the home turn and SUPER TOMMY then moved out towards the outside of the track. A charge was preferred against the dog under Rule 322 and the Trainer elected to admit the rule had been breached and SUPER TOMMY was stood down for one month to and including 31.01.05. UNIFY turned its head to fight BANKSIDE GO GO on the home turn and was also charged under Rule 322 and the Trainers representative also elected to admit the rule had been breached and UNIFY was stood down for one month to and including 31.01.05. WHATA PLAN was scratched due to being in season. WHATA PLAN (B.C.Dann) In season. Rule 258 30 days to and including 29.01.05. SUPER TOMMY ( R.Casey ) Rule 322 Failed to persue and stood down for one month to and including 31.01.05. Race 5 GARRARDS HORSE AND HOUND STAKES - C1 - 520 FORCEFUL HABIT was scratched due to suffering from diarrhoea. The race was all clear. FORCEFUL HABIT ( M.Grant) Rule 259 Suffering from diarrhoea and was presented and stood down for 5 days to and including 03.01.05.
Race 6 SOUTHERN DOG ROLL SPRINT - C0 - 295 LIGNUM VITAE and HOMEBUSH BASMATI collided on the first turn and dropped back from handy positions and never recovered.
Race 7 WILSON'S SPORTS BAR & TAB STAKES - C0 - 520 LUCY SWIFT was scratched due to injury. All clear. LUCY SWIFT ( K.Kilsby ) Rule 259 Suffering from a split webbing and stood down for 10 days to and including 04.01.05.
Race 8 BARRONS SUPPLIES SPRINT - C1 - 295 The favourite WHATA TOWN missed the start badly and lost several lengths. He then made up ground but clipped the heels of TRINITY STAR on the first turn and that was the end of his chances.
Race 9 FLAIR SPRINT - C1 - 295 Two well supported runners TRINITY SAINT and MULBERRY CHELLE collided in the back straight, lost several lengths and all chance.
Race 10 SHIRLEY VETERINARY SPRINT - C0 - 295 I'M THE BOSS was scratched due to a toe injury. RAINING MEN and MY SINBAD collided when starting on the bend and lost several lengths. They never recovered and finished well back. I'M THE BOSS (JV Busch) left fore toe sprain. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 259. 7 days up to and including 5 January 2005.
Race 11 EUREKA TRUST STAKES - C0 - 520 BEVRON ROAD was scratched due to a foreleg laceration. The race was all clear. BEVRON ROAD J & D Fahey Rule 259 Has foreleg lacerations and was presented and stood down for 7 days to and including 06.01.05.
Race 12 CONTAINERS DIRECT INTERTRADE SPRINT - C1 - 295 BOUND FOR CHINA who drew box 5 ran in from the start and crowded the inside runners for a few strides with MULBERRY ROLL being the most affected. MULBERRY ROLL was again checked by BOUND FOR CHINA on the bend and they filled the last two places at the finish.
Race 13 SUPER PETS SPRINT - C3 - 295 KING LOUIS was scratched due to a toe injury. The favourite TARARA APE was bumped soon after the start, again on the first turn and was then bumped and pushed out on the bend when JANE'S COMMANDO moved out and made contact. KING LOUIS A.Williams Rule 259 Toe sprain and stood down for 10 days to and including 06.01.05
Race 14 INDEPENDENT CARPETS CRANFORD STAKES - C2 - 520 This event was delayed two minutes after a false start at the Auckland Harness meeting. SATIN ANGEL moved in on the first corner and checked FOLLOW THE TREND and UNIQUE MAGGIE who dropped back a couple of places. LADYLIKE TOKEN was also hindered in the incident and was pushed wide around the bend.
Race 15 NUTRI-ZING SPRINT - C1 - 295 LIGHT FROST was scratched Ex Waikato on 24.12.04 SAMMY GOSSIP was scratched due to suffering from dairrhoea. BLONDE FEVER was bumped firmly by HOMEBUSH SONYA soon after the start and dropped back through the field making contact with JOHN'S BLUEY as she went. SAMMY GOSSIP (BC Dann) diarrhoea. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 259. 5 days up to and including 3 January 2005. LIGHT FROST C.White Ex Waikato on 24.12.04.
Race 16 CATCH U IN 2005 STAKES - C1 - 520 WHATA DARLING was away well but was crowded and checked on the first corner, went back to last, never recovered and finished in that position.
Race 17 ADDINGTON RACEWAY SPRINT - C4 - 295 DELTA SKELTER was scratched due to an injured wrist. DALHUNTY BALE was checked on the first turn and dropped back from a handy position to last. POTENTIAL ROGUE was checked also as DALHUNTY BALE went back and they filled the last two places. DELTA SKELTER P.Freeman Rule 259 Wrist injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 07.01.05
Race 18 TRACKSIDE DINING (PH 03 338 6145) STAKES - C3/4 - 520 QUIET SPIRIT was scratched due to being in season. The favourite ORPHAN ASSASSIN was bumped by BURN THE PEG on the first corner and lost momentum for a few strides which cost him ground. QUIET SPIRIT (JF Allen) In season. Rule 258. 30 days up to and including 29 January 2005.
Race 19 DUAL CODE MEETING 6 JANUARY STAKES - C2 - 520 CHALLENGER BALE jumped on terms with the field but failed to persue the lure for several strides until the dog was some distance behind the field. He then began to persue but was not able to make up the lost ground and beat one home. A charge under Rule 322 was preferred, the kennel representative elected to admit that the rule had been breached and CHALLENGER BALE was stood down for three months for a second offence. Race 20 HAPPY NEW YEAR SPRINT - C2 - 295 CANDIAC BALE was checked on the first turn and dropped out to the rear. OZARKS GUMBOOT ran wide on the bend and then collided with CANDIAC BALE on the home turn and they finished at the rear.
