Judicial report: Weather: Showery No race related injuries were reported from this meeting.
J.McInerney Jnr lodged a verbal complaint with the Stipendiary Steward following Race 4 on the programme in relation to the time delay in the field being despatched from the 318mtr start. A minimal delay had been caused by overhead aircraft noise. The matter was referred to the Judicial Steward for investigation and following this was deemed not to require further action being taken.The outcome was fully discussed with Mr McInerney together with the requirements under Rule 315.
J.McInerney Jnr also received a warning from the Stipendiary Steward under Rules 135.10 and 130.2
D.van Meeuwen the trainer of Idol Appeal was advised prior to the meeting that the reassessment of the 'Hard to Box' categorisation had now been completed and the categorisation cancelled, however this will not prevent an application for reinstatement being considered in the future.

| Race 2 | MEADOWSET GRAPHICS STAKES - C2 - 527 | Black Tibet was slow to begin. Lil Energiser, Charmaine Bale and Disclose bumped each other after the start. Charmaine Bale tried to move towards the rail on the first turn with Black Tibet, Disclose and Lil Energiser being checked as the result. Coruba Storm, Flying Pebbles and Den Of Fire came together in the home straight with the latter being checked. |

There was no 'head on' video coverage of this race available from TAB Trackside. Musical Drama drifted soon after the start. Thelma Bale began well, led, then had heels clipped and checked by Musical Drama nearing the first turn. Winsome Tiger was also checked in this incident. Winsome Tiger was inconvenienced by Black Allegro moving inward on the bend. Honest Bird (J.T.McInerney). Late scratching. Left forelimb pain and lameness. Vet certificate supplied. | Race 4 | RAILWAY SPRINT - HEAT 2 - C5q - 318 Heat 1 | Little Toot was boxed first due to a current 'Hard to Box' categorisation and was observed to be difficult. Homebush Brian was slow to begin. Tessa's Delight drifted early. Bossy Ace, Shar Nazir and Little Toot came together after 70mtrs. Effervescence was galloped on from behind and severely checked by Zephyr Zeal on the first turn with Homebush Brian also being severely checked in this incident. Tessa's Delight galloped on the heels of Bossy Ace on the bend severely checking the former. Little Toot and Gold Strike collided in the home straight with the former being severely checked. |

Faithful Whisky tried to move off the rail on the first turn which hampered Westar Storm and checked Romberg Reason, forcing the latter runner wide. Fossil moved towards the rail on the final bend checking Cosmic Eclipse. |
