Race 1	ELITE CATERING SPRINT - C1 - 305	CATERING KING was scratched after gaining a start in Race Two. The favourite UNO SHEZA LADY was slow away and then received an interrupted run, being checked three times and eventually finishing in last place. NEW YORK COP was checked on the bend and lost two lengths when CHIPPEWA BRAVE moved through on the inside. CATERING KING gained a start in Race Two.
Race 2	RUSH HIRE IMPROVERS FINAL - C1f - 305	PERFECT BREEZE was scratched due to a seasonal complaint. MISTER FORBES began awkwardly and lost four lengths. He then recovered well to gain a clear run through on the fence to finish third. SHEZA ZINGER galloped on the back of BEST TELL PIE on the first corner and they both lost ground and never recovered. PERFECT BREEZE Trainer W.Goodwin Rule 258 (3) In season and stood down for 30 days to and including 07.01.05.
Race 3	WANGANUI SECURITY '520' - C0 - 520	OPAWA GAS suffered a slight gracilus muscle injury and was stood down for 5 days. OPAWA GAS Trainer D.Garrett Rule 329 Suffered a slight gracilus muscle injury and stood down for 5 days to and including 14.12.04.
Race 4	METEOR PRINTERS '305' - C1 - 305	VAL'S FELLA was slow away and settled at the rear. GREEN MILE moved in on the first corner and checked DISSIPATE who then moved out and forced SHE'S HOME SOON and CAN CANDY CAPP wide over extra ground.
Race 5	SPICERS PAPER DASH - C2 - 305	PUZZLING KNIGHT was slow to begin and settled near the rear. PUZZLING KNIGHT and NITE HAWK LADY were then checked and pushed out wide on the bend when MATERIAL GIRL eased out to avoid the heels of runners ahead.
Race 6	HEADS ROAD VETERINARY STAKES - C1 - 520	MILO O'SHEA was slow to begin losing four lengths. The favourite SCOTTALOT was jostled from the inside by BRONNIE BOLTA on the first corner and was off balance for a few strides. SCOTTALOT recovered but was again checked by BRONNIE BOLTA entering the last bend and that was the end of his chance of a dividend bearing place.
Race 7	HALL ELECTRICAL DASH - C1 - 305	SECRET PRINCE was scratched Ex Wellington on 08.12.04. The start of this event was delayed by 2 minutes at the request of the T.A.B.after the harness meeting at Forbury Park was delayed. UNO A WHISPER was tightened and squeezed out of its position soon after the start when PITSTOCK JAZZ moved out and THRILLING VENUS moved in. SECRET PRINCE was scratched Ex Wellington on 08.12.04.
Race 8	DA MORRISONS SPRINT - C4/5 - 305	This race was also delayed by a minute due to a late start at the harness meeting. General tightening on the first corner resulted in KEEN PRECISION and ILLEGITIMATE being checked and dropping out to the rear and they stayed there.
Race 9	EXCEED '520' - C2 - 520	The favourite WEONA PIRATE was not the best beginner and then jostled with BONNIE CREEK and ENROLLMENT for a few strides racing to the first corner and settled well back. He then had to make up ground wide out, covered extra ground and eventually finished well back.
Race 10	ASR SPRAYPAINTING '305' - C3 - 305	GINGER TYLER, CALM FLOW, HURRICANE FOG and I'VE GOT FLAIR were all checked on the first corner as the eventual winner WINSOME TIGER moved down to the rail and they filled the last four places at the finish.
