| Race 3 | DOUBLE 'S' MOTORDROME STAKES - C1 - 305 | PITSTOCK JAZZ jumped out at the start and checked MILO O'SHEA and QUEEN OF FLIGHT who lost ground. PITSTOCK JAZZ and QUEEN OF FLIGHT collided on the first corner and QUEEN OF FLIGHT lost several lengths and all chance. |
| Race 4 | SPICER'S PAPER '305' - C0 - 305 | BRACES MY DEAR and UTIKU FLYS were very slow to begin losing several lengths. BRACES MY DEAR recovered well to make up ground and finish 4th. CERAMIC ran in from the start and caused buffetting to INAHA KOTIRO and TURBO MCCOOKIE who lost a little ground. UTIKU FLYS collided with ALL A GAMBLE on the home turn and they lost momentum for a couple of strides. |
| Race 5 | SOCIAL CLUB '520' - C0 - 520 | SCOTTALOT ran in from the start and checked all other runners except DESTINY'S RUN and BONNIE TOKEN. On the first corner DESTINY'S RUN and SCOTTALOT collided but they recovered well without losing much ground. Racing to the first corner OPAWA GAS ran onto the back of BONNIE TOKEN and they both lost ground. PEMBROKE ROSE was checked on the first corner and ran very wide on the first bend covering extra ground. |
| Race 6 | WANGANUI SHOW DASH - C0 - 305 | UTIKU ROLLS was slow to begin and settled at the rear. THRILLING VENUS and PEACH LOVER collided in the race to the first corner but recovered quickly to finish 1st and 2nd. ISHBELL'S LEGACY was checked against the rail on the first corner, lost ground and then ran wide on the bend and finished last. LADY OUTING raced handy but dropped away in the final stages and was sent to the vet for examination. This revealed a wrist injury and a 7 day spell was ordered. | Race 7 | HOUSE OF TRAVEL SPRINT - HEAT 2 - C1q - 305 Heat 1 | WEE AMY LEIGH was scratched due to a seasonal complaint. LIGHT REIGN ran out soon after the start and collided with NEW YORK COP and they settled well back. NEW TORK COP ran onto the back of MISS NEMINBO on the first corner, dipped and lost ground. NEW YORK COP then collided with KOTUKU ARANUI and LIGHT REIGN and they finished well back. WEE AMY LEIGH Trainer Huntley / Fraser Rule 258 (3) Suffering from a seasonal complaint and stood down for 30 days to and including 28.12.04. |
| Race 8 | EXCEED STAKES - C0 - 520 | RUNNING TIGER was scratched due to a shoulder injury. Tightening on the first corner resulted in the favourite THRILLING YOYO losing her position and dropping back . She was then galloped on by MISS TWIGGY as she dropped back. Several strides latter THRILLING YOYO galloped on HELLUVA PIZZAZ and caused that runner to fall but she was not injured. THRILLING YOYO lost several lengths and all chance. RUNNING TIGER Trainer S.Clark Rule 259 Suffering from a shoulder injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 08.12.04. |
| Race 9 | WANGANUI FARM SUPPLIES DASH - C0 - 305 | BUDLEIGH BABE ran out at the start and checked CALM MYSTIQUE who settled near the rear. OUR SHEREENA and UNO A THRILL collided on the first corner when OUR SHEREENA ran wide. GLORIAS MATE who was following was also affected in the incident. |
| Race 10 | VITAPOWER '305' - HEAT 3 - C1q - 305 Heat 1 | FUNNY FEELING was a late scratching due to being overweight. The Trainer was fined $ 100-00 under Rule 269 (3). The Trainer of GREEN MILE D.Garrett was fined $ 55-00 under Rule 280 (3) for failing to present the original registration papers. A photo copy was produced and the dog was allowed to start. RAYNA REASON ran wide on the first corner and forced the favourite GREEN MILE over extra ground and this would have affected its chance of a placing. FUNNY FEELING Trainer G.Darby Rule 269 (3) A late scratching due to being overweight. No stand down but Mr Darby was fined $ 100-00 under the same rule. |
| Race 11 | DA MORRISON'S STAKES - C1 - 520 | RAGTIME REASON was scratched due to injury. The hot favourite KRACKEM was slow to begin and was then checked from the inside on the first corner. Soon after KRACKEM made firm contact with the rail and lost ground. KRACKEM made ground from there and cruised through to win well. The dog was sent for examination by the vet and cleared of injury. RAGTIME REASON Trainer T.Unia Rule 259 Suffering from a webbing injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 08.12.04. |
| Race 12 | RUSH HIRE SPRINT - HEAT 4 - C1q - 305 Heat 1 | CAN CANDY CAPP was tightened from both sides early in the race and dropped back to last. She then recovered well to run on for 4th placing. HOMEBUSH KERRY moved in on the first corner and checked LAST TRAM who dropped back onto HOMEBUSH LUCKY who fell. REDWOOD NEV was also affected in the incident and was forced wide and lost several lengths but recovered very well to finish on for 3rd placing. HOMEBUSH LUCKY was examined by the vet and cleared of any injury |

He then made up ground well but was checked short of the line and finished second. ARANUI TUI was tightened and checked on the first corner and dropped out to last and stayed there. |

GREY HAVOC was examined by the vet and stood down for 14 days with a tail injury. GREY HAVOC Trainer R.McBride Rule 329 Suffered a tail injury when dragged down and stood down for 14 days to and including 13.12.04. |

PUZZLING KNIGHT was the slowest away but made ground well to win the race. WINSOME LEEDS raced erratically in the back straight and moved out making firm contact with THRILLING CODY who was momentarily put off balance. NITE HAWK LADY dictated the line of HURRICANE FOG and THRILLING CODY when starting on the bend and they were pushed wide over extra ground.
