Race 1 PEDIGREE ADVANCE SPRINT - C4 - 295 MRS PEEL and DALHUNTY BALE were tightened into the first bend losing all chance. DALHUNTY BALE ran on to finish midfield with MRS PEEL last. Into the home straight SHIRAZ VINE and WHATA TEX collided when racing near the rear, WHATA TEX hitting the rail. He was checked by the club veterinarian who detected no injury.
Race 2 BARRY GURDER SOUND SUPPLIES SPRINT - C1 - 295 HOMEBUSH FIN drifted to last soon after the jump never improving. CANDIAC BALE who was handy ran wide into the straight losing ground finishing fourth. MULBERRY BEAN (KJ Cassidy) right fore spike wounds. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 259. 7 days up to and including 30 November 2004.
Race 3 SOUTHERN TRUST STAKES - C3 - 520 Into the first bend QUIET SPIRIT crossed down to the rail tightening ESCAPADE with resultant checks to LOCHINVAR FIRE, AQUA TANK and KELLBRETT JEMMA. ESCAPADE ran on for third with the others finishing near the rear. HARVARD CHIEF (M&J Jopson) was a late scratching prior to kennelling with lacerations to chest. Dog preesnted. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 259. 10 days up to and including 5 December 2004.
Race 4 CONTAINERS DIRECT INTERTRADE STAKES - C1/2 - 520 The short priced favourite ORPHAN ASSASSIN went to the lead into the first corner running away to win easily. TULONGA LOAFER (AH Lee) on antibiotics for infected foot. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 259. 5 days up to and including 29 November 2004. DR NOAKES (JS Rush) deceased.
Race 5 KOLORFUL KANVAS SPRINT - C3 - 295 KING LOUIS was slow to jump settling well back finishing midfield. Into the home straight the favourite SPECIAL EFFECTS and CONSENT came together losing momentum, filling the last two places. MELTING POT (GK Barron) spike wound to left hind web. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 259. 7 days up to and including 1 December 2004. KNOCKABOUT NOVA (BC Dann) in season. Rule 257. 30 days up to and including 23 December 2004.
Race 6 ALPHA PROCESSING - C1 - 520 ZINGER'S REVENGE and WAVE THE FERN came together into the first bend settling well back. WAVE THE FERN finished strongly in the straight for fourth with ZINGER'S REVENGE last. Across the top HOMEBUSH HOPE and CLAN EBONY came together, both recovering to fill the minor places. Into the home straight DANCING BANSHEE checked out off HOMEBUSH HOPE'S hindquarters, finishing fifth.
Race 7 NUTRI-ZING - C4/5 - 520 Into the first bend TOKENISM and STARLIGHT BALE came together before STARLIGHT BALE ran inwards and collided with CHEAP WINE. The dogs lost all chance filling the last three places. USER FRIENDLY (P&B Conner) left fore toe sprain. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 259. 14 days up to and including 8 December 2004. FAITHFUL BLUE (R Adcock) right hind toe dislocation. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 259. 21 days up to and including 13 December 2004.
Race 8 ROBBIE'S BAR & BISTRO STAKES - C4/5 - 295 Around the first bend HOMEBUSH GEORGE struck the hindquarters of JACK FRANCES losing ground and finishing near the rear. The favourite HAILSTONE HEAVEN jumped to the lead to run away and win easily.
Race 9 WILSONS SPORTS BAR & TAB - C1/2 - 520 SHIRAZ ROYALE ran to the lead down the back straight to run away and win easily. Into the home straight SATIN GRIP and DISCLOSE came together when racing at the rear.
Race 10 CANTERBURY FOUNDATION SPRINT - C2 - 295 This event was delayed 2 minutes due to the late start of the previous harness race at Harold Park. BUS PAINTER missed the jump by four lengths settling a clear last. When improving into the first bend he ran into HOMEBUSH SPOT and SMART SPICE who came together when midfield. Soon after HOMEBUSH SPOT ran out running BLONDE FEVER wide on the track these dogs filling the last four places. The favorite ACE BIRD ran to a clear lead wining very easily.
