Judicial report: Weather: Overcast Trainer G.N.Pomeroy was reminded that the Registration Certificate / Race record card for the greyhound 'Glenmire' which was injured and stood down under Rule 329 at the Waikato GRC race meeting held on 17.11.04. must be presented for endorsement at the next meeting on 01.12.04.
Owners and Trainers are reminded of Rules 394, 325 and 326. It is important that the requirements of these rules are strictly adhered to. Rule 394 ( Notification of Death ), Rule 325 ( Commencement of Penalties and Incapacitations ) and Rule 326 ( Race Record Card Endorsement ).
Trainers and handlers are acknowledged for their co-operation with Raceday Officials to improve the TAB Trackside appearance of Pre and Post race parades in addition to ensuring that all trainers provide post race catchers. The improvement has been noticeable and appreciated.

Race 1 IMPROVERS STAKES - HEAT 1 - C1q - 457 Heat 1 Amusement and Winsome Shine jostled after the start. Golden Lobo ran outwards nearing the first turn and had it's heels clipped by Mister Jaybee with both runners being checked as a result.
Race 2 TAMAHERE STAKES - C0 - 457 Gentle Lee and Edna Maycee were scratched due to injury. Best Tell Rose and Booming Time were slow to begin. Entice, Glorias Mate, Rythmic Finale and Best Tell Rose were involved in general tightening on the first turn which resulted in all being checked. Edna Maycee (G.C.Holswich). Torn nail. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259. 7 days up to and including 01.12.04. Gentle Lee (W.Steele). Right fore toe injury. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259. 10days up to and including 04.12.04.
Race 3 MATANGI MAIDEN SPRINT - FINAL - C0f - 375 Bubba Hotep, Legal Edition and Baltasar were slow to begin. Time Solves ran wide on the bend which carted Charlston Chill wide and to cover extra ground. Bubba Hotep ran wide on the home turn and lost ground.
Race 4 IMPROVERS STAKES - HEAT 2 - C1q - 457 Heat 1 Thrilling Bouff, Shaka Malawi, Kiwi Assassin and Trendy Time were slow to begin. Hello Sailor, Trendy Time and Shaka Malawi jostled for position after the start. Kiwi Assassin raced very wide throughout and covered a lot of extra ground.
Race 5 BILL ROBERTSON MEMORIAL SPRINT - C1 - 375 King Of Dreams was slow to begin then ran on well wide out to finish 3rd. Scarbrough and Smooth Harry jostled for position on the first turn. Winsome Rose moved outwards on the home turn pushing Thrilling Serena out and checking that runner.
Race 6 IMPROVERS STAKES - HEAT 3 - C1q - 457 Heat 1 Four Square, Ashcroft Bale, Latasha and Graphics were slow to begin. Ashcroft Bale faltered nearing the first turn but completed the course. A Veterinary examination was ordered which detected injury requiring a 14 day stand down from racing. Ashcroft Bale (G.N.Pomeroy). Torn right monkey muscle. Rule 329. 14 days up to and including 09.12.04.
Race 7 VIC STURT MEMORIAL SPRINT - C1/2 - 375 Tiger Time was slow to begin. Keenjackaroo was denied racing room behind Someone after the start. Thrilling Jack, Keenjackaroo and Someone came together on the home turn. Prince Zidane checked off the heels of Someone on the home turn.
Race 8 BILL ANNETTE MEMORIAL STAKES - C2/3 - 457 No head-on video coverage of this race was available from TAB Trackside. Super Tod moved off rail when racing near the rear on the home turn inconveniencing Charmaine Bale. Awesome Enforcer was ordered to undergo a Veterinary examination due to a disappointing performance. The examination detected injuries requiring a 10 day stand down from racing. Awesome Enforcer (C.A.Ramsey). Right hand probable hock strain. Gluteal and hip support soreness. Rule 329. 10 days up to and including 05.12.04. (Trainer to present race record card for endorsement).
Race 9 GRAEME GIESEN MEMORIAL SPRINT - C3/4 - 375 Marissa Bale, Hostile Arch and Real Silence were slow to begin. Marissa Bale and Hostile Arch jostled after the start. Nicholas Bale came across to the rail on the first turn hampering Cosmic Eclipse which lost 2 lengths. Nicholas Bale became entangled with the lure at the conclusion of the race and was ordered to undergo a Veterinary examination which revealed serious injuries resulting in euthanasia. Nicholas Bale (G.N.Pomeroy). Left fore fracture and dislocation of elbow. Rule 329. Euthanased.
Race 10 TERRY KNIGHT MEMORIAL STAKES - C4/5 - 457 Fancy Style, Winsome Success and Silk Ripple jostled for position after the start. Lika Cruise was tightened between Silk Ripple and Edgar Jay after the start and lost 2 lengths. Fancy Style ran out very wide on the bend, checking Silk Ripple slightly, and remained wide thereafter.
