Judicial report: Weather: Fine The Analyst team from N.Z.Racing Laboratory Services in Avondale attended the meeting for observation and educational purposes and were complimentary about the swabbing procedures in place.
Race 4. The starting manners of Tandias Girl ( G.Calverley) are to be monitored at it's next start.
Trainer G.Calverley was reminded of the requirements under Rule 262.1.
Trainer L.Craik was reminded that the Registration Certificate / Race Record Card for the greyhound Raise Your Glass which competed at the previous AGRC race meeting on 19.11.04, is required for endorsement of Rule 329.

Race 1	STREETS ICE CREAM STAKES - C0 - 527	Charlston Zoom and Destiny's Run were slow to begin. Rythmic Finale and Destiny's Run jostled after the start. Running Tiger ran outwards on the first turn severely checking Fly The Gold and Sun Gai which was also carted very wide. Fly The Gold fell heavily as a result of the check and was ordered to undergo a Veterinary examination which revealed injury requiring a 30 day stand down from racing. Fly The Gold (M.Earley). Multiple shoulder injuries. Rule 329. 30 days up to and including 24.12.04.
Race 2	ROYAL WOLF CONTAINERS DASH - C0 - 318	Hurricane Hove was slow to begin. First Sample and Tempest Will came together after the start as did Champagne Gypsy and Bedas Boy. Our Shereena ran outwards on the home turn forcing Sister Saintly onto Jolly Buffy with both being severely checked as a result.
Race 3	CATERING PROFESSIONALS STAKES - C1 - 527	The start time of this race was delayed 2 minutes at the request of TAB Trackside. Justa Toff was slow to begin.
Race 4	TINT-A-CAR DASH - C1 - 318	Tandias Girl reared when boxes opened and lost 4 lengths and lost all chance.
Race 5	CAROL'S TAB STAKES - C1 - 527	The start time of this race was delayed 2 minutes at the request of TAB Trackside. Mo Mistress, Go Time Go, Osti's Crown and Bannister Lad were all slow to begin. Goldfinger Jewel came across quickly towards the rail after the start severely checking Osti's Crown which showed no improvement thereafter finishing a distant last. Go Time Go moved to a wide running position on the first bend and stayed wide thereafter.
Race 6	MEADOWSET GRAPHICS DASH - C2 - 318	Storm Edition and My Journey came together briefly after the start. Robust Rock and Ina Tizzy jostled for a stride nearing the first turn. Robust Rock drifted on the bend resulting in Ina Tizzy being tightened and checked between that runner and Flying Tuskey. Ina Tizzy, Storm Edition and Robust Rock were all involved in general tightening on the home turn with the two latter runners being severely checked as a result.
Race 7	RADIO PACIFIC DASH - C2/3 - 318	Just Too Hot and Sue Van Gill were slow to begin. Miss Tracey Lee, Black Tyler, Lucky Lipinski, This Time Boots and Supreme Paragon were all involved in general tightening after 20 mtrs and received varying checks as the result. This Time Boots ran very wide on the bend and lost ground. This Time Boots and Supreme Paragon came together nearing the first turn.
Race 8	BELLBIRD ARMS STAKES FEATURE - C3 - 527	Gozo Reg was scratched due to injury. Tighnabruich, Rivette Reason, Coruba Storm and Run To Paradise missed the start slightly. Poco King, Run To Paradise and Coruba Storm came together after the start. Run To Paradise moved off the rail slightly into the back straight checking Rivette Reason which lost 4 lengths then commenced a strong rails run and ran home powerfully for 2nd. Gozo Reg (D.Schofield). Dislocated right front toe. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259. 14 days up to and including 07.12.04.
Race 9	GREEN THISTLE SPORTING TRUST DASH - C4/5 - 318	Kiwi Fire jumped awkwardly and lost 2 lengths then made up ground well wide out to finish 4th. Waiweratai and Let Me came together on the first turn. Tessa's Delight was tightened between Tap To It and Parra Power on the bend, lost it's balance and fell heavily. Waiweratai was severely checked when jumping the fallen runner in this incident. Tessa's Delight was ordered to undergo a Veterinary examination which detected no injury.
Race 10	COCA-COLA STAKES - C4/5 - 527	Romberg Reason and Rial to Reason were slow to begin. Rial To Reason and Moana Nui jostled on the first turn.
