Judicial report: Weather: Fine Trainer MP Stewart was fined $100.00 for a breach of Rule 269.3 in respect of her dog TAMBOOLI weighing in 2.00kgs over his last race weight.
Trainer JT McInernery was fined $100.00 for a breach of Rule 256 in respect of the non presentation of HOMEBUSH LUMP, a starter in Race 1, who had been inadvertently left in his kennels at Homebush. No penalty was imposed on HOMEBUSH LUMP UNDER Rule 257.

| Race 1 | MERRY CHRISTMAS SPRINT - C1 - 310 | DISCO FEVER and MY PERK were slow to jump settling at the rear and never improving in the running. FRENCH SPARROW jumped on terms with the field however drifted out to finish amongst the tailenders. DISCO FEVER hit the rail when in last place approaching the first bend, and was checked by the club veterinarian who detected no injury. HOMEBUSH LUMP (JT McInerney) was a late scratching when not produced at the meeting, having been left in his kennels in error. Rules 256 and 257. Trainer McInerney fined $100.00 and no penalty imposed on HOMEBUSH LUMP. |
| Race 2 | BRIAN BAGLEY DRIVER LICENSING SPRINT - C0 - 310 | IDOLISE ME drove to the lead into the first bend to lead all the way and win well. Into the home straight COMPACT CONNNIE checked out off OLD JOE before running on for fourth. |
| Race 3 | PAWS INN SPRINT - C0 - 310 | The winner HOMEBUSH COYOTE ran inwards after the jump checking OZARK'S ANGEL and ROBERTALAN. Soon after ROBERTALAN ran outwards colliding with MISS LUCK who drifted out to finish at the rear with OZARK'S ANGEL. ROBERTALAN finished strongly in the straight for third. TAMBOOLI (MP Stewart) was a late scratching at kennelling when found to be 2.00kgs over his last race weight. Rule 269.3. Trainer MP Stewart fined $100.00. WHATA TOWN (J&D Fahey) right hind toe sprain. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 259. 10 days up to and including 3 December 2004. |
| Race 4 | OTAGO/CANTERBURY MAIDEN - HEAT 1 - C0q - 545 Heat 1 | Trainer JV Busch advised she had taken over the training of WHATA DARLING who had been purchased the previous day from BA Johnston. Trainer PB Freeman confirmed he had taken over the training of MINI SURPRISE, and the association office advised in accordance with Rule 377.2. Into the first bend MINI SURPRISE was tightened coming back on SPYRIDON LOUIS and UNIFY both dogs running wide as a result. They filled the last three places. Across the top UNIFY laid out on MINI SURPRISE both losing further ground. HOMEBUSH MANUKA (JT McInerney) deceased. |
| Race 5 | OTAGO/CANTERBURY MAIDEN - HEAT 2 - C0q - 545 Heat 1 | MAXIMUS ran outwards soon after the jump and into the first bend ran out again checking OZARK MOON with BURHHAM THUNDER running wide to avoid the skirmish. Soon after MAXIMUS checked out off GIVEN THE BLUES hindquarters and collided with MARSHELLA. GIVEN THE BLUES ran on for third with the others finishing at the rear. |

Soon after the jump AQUA COSTI ran inwards tightening INDICATIVE, FORCEFUL HABIT and MARIO SCENARIO, these dogs settling at the rear. AQUA COSTI who trailed the leader held on for second with MARIO SCENARIO finishing well for third. |

TRINITY ROCKET ran on well for fourth with the other two finishing near the rear. |

HONKY TONK LORD ran on for fourth with CLAN IVORY midfield. AQUA SHEILA and BLANCHED jostled at the rear of the field into the back straight and across the top never improving in the running. |

AWESOME KEV finished strongly for fourth with FLASH WARRIOR finishing at the rear alongside JACK THE ALIEN who was tightened between AWESOME KEV and SEASPRAY ROCK into the first bend. |
| Race 10 | BUSCH & CAIRNS SPRINT - C2 - 310 | HOMEBUSH BOY lost all chance at the start when coming up with the lids, running on strongly over the concluding stages for third. Soon after the jump MRS DOO was tightened drifting out to finish near the rear alongside WEE SWEETIE and HOMEBUSH DIESEL who came together into the first bend. The favourite KIWI NIKO jumped to the lead from the boxes leading all the way. |
