Judicial report: Weather: Fine The race meeting operated on time except Race 4 which was one minute late at the request of TAB Trackside.
Mention of the excellent team effort which exists between all raceday officials at this club is appropriate.
C.Wilson the handler of Sue Van Gill was reminded of the requirements under Rule 262.
A charge under Rule 135.10 was laid by the Stipendiary Steward with the Judicial Committee against Trainers' B & L Craik. The hearing was opened and then adjourned until 07.12.04.

Race 1 TINT-A-CAR STAKES - C2/3 - 527 Top Allegro was scratched due to injury. Rivette Reason, Harvard World and Willy What were slow to begin. Poco King and Coruba Storm came together twice prior to the first turn. Astro Doll ran outwards on the first turn severely checking Poco King and Willy What. Top Allegro (D.Mathews). Injured left carpus.Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259. 10 days up to and including 28.11.04.
Race 2 MANUKAU DASH - C0 - 318 Kimster was scratched due to injury Kath moved outwards after 25mtrs forcing Sister Saintly and Jolly Buffy to cover extra ground with the latter being checked as a result of this incident. All runners with the exception of Kath were involved in general tightening on the first turn. Colonel Hogan ran outwards on the bend and carted Justa Half Pint very wide, then ran wide again on the home turn and lost ground. Kimster (A.Cleaver). Dislocated toe. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259. 14 days up to and including 30.11.04.
Race 3 ROYAL WOLF CONTAINERS DASH - C1 - 318 Grasscutter Bob endeavoured move off the rail on the first turn and in the process pushed Smooth Harry onto Goldfinger Jewel which was checked and as a result slightly hampered Pitter Patter which was racing on it's outer. Johnny Tulloch and Farmer Benson were also severely checked in the backwash from this interference with Johnny Tulloch making contact with the rail. Farmer Benson and Tandias Girl came together on the bend. Johnny Tulloch ran very wide on the home turn and lost ground to finish 6th.
Race 4 COMMERCIAL PLUMBING STAKES - C1 - 527 Shanandor Bale and Kaiser Izmir were slow to begin. Raise Your Glass came across the field quickly towards the rail after the start checking Time Over Boots in the process. Kaiser Izmir galloped on the heels of Raise Your Glass on the first turn with the latter finishing a long last. Raise Your Glass was ordered to undergo a Veterinary examination which revealed injuries requiring a 10 day stand down from racing. Our Madge and Kaiser Izmir came together on the home turn. Raise Your Glass (B&L Craik). Abrasions left hind leg and soreness in left calf muscle. Rule 329. 10 days up to and including 28.11.04.( Trainer to present race record card for endorsement ).
Race 5 MEADOWSET GRAPHICS DASH - C2 - 318 Peter Hand, Tiger Time and Flying Tuskey were slow to begin. Supreme Paragon reared when leaving the boxes, checked Storm Edition and lost ground as a result. Flying Tuskey moved to the rail on the first turn which tightened and checked Storm Edition, Peter Hand and Supreme Paragon.
Race 6 CAROL'S TAB DASH - C1 - 318 Economy Style was scratched due to injury. Rokeby King, Dr Dal Santo, Jumbo Flash and Winsome Dot were slow to begin. Jumbo Flash came across quickly towards the rail after the start severely checking Dr Dal Santo and Rokeby King. Rokeby King clipped the heels of Lady Dolly on the first turn then fell heavily and pulled up injured. Dr Dal Santo was forced to jump the fallen runner, was severely checked in doing so and lost all chance. Rokeby King was ordered to undergo a Veterinary examination which revealed serious injury and resulted in euthanasia. Just Hasty ran wide on the home turn, lost ground but held on to win. Economy Style (B&L Craik). Left stifle wound and bruising around kneecap. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259. 5 days up to and including 21.11.04. Rokeby King (F.D.Farmer). Right forearm fracture. Euthanased.
Race 7 TOP NOSH LTD STAKES - C1/2 - 527 Certainly was scratched due to a seasonal condition. Token Sniper was scratched due to injury. He's Hypo was slow to begin. Go Time Go, Bannister Lad and Linnymay came together after the start. Go Time Go endeavoured to move outwards on the first turn carting Bannister Lad, Linnymay and Splickez very wide. Cybil Defence moved outwards slightly on the bend when Full Force Gale pushed through on the rail to take up the lead and unbalanced He's Hypo which was racing on it's outer. This caused He's Hypo to fall heavily which severely checked Go Time Go which also jumped the fallen runner and lost all chance. Splickez was also forced to jump He's Hypo and recovered well to finish 4th. He's Hypo was ordered to undergo a Veterinary examination which detected no injury. Certainly (L.Nixon). Late scratching. Seasonal condition. No Vet certificate supplied. Rule 258.3. 30 days up to and including 18.12.04. Token Sniper (N.P.Green). Hip support muscle injury. No Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259.3. 30 days up to and including 17.12.04.
Race 8 STREETS ICE CREAM SPRINT FEATURE - C3 - 318 Sand Dancer was scratched due to injury. World Priority was scratched due to injury. Charmed Mahogany was slow to begin. Sue Van Gill and My Journey drifted early. Junior Rhode jumped inwards at the start slightly checking Black Tyler. Junior Rhode and My Journey came together after 20mtrs with both being checked as a result. Charmed Mahogany ran off the rail quickly on the bend severely checking Miss Tracey Lee. Sand Dancer (B&L Craik). Left hind Metatarso - phalangeal sesamoid pain and swelling. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259. 10 days up to and including 27.11.04. World Priority (M.P.Mann). Injury to both back leg muscles. No Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259.3. 30 days up to and including 17.12.04.
Race 9 RADIO PACIFIC STAKES - C4/5 - 527 Follow Me Frosty was scratched due to injury. Shining Comet, Orana City and Cosmic Eclipse were slow to begin. Sunset Jest jumped awkwardly. Westar Storm and Cosmic Eclipse jostled on the bend. Fashion Thief and Romberg Reason jostled on the home turn. Follow Me Frosty (D.Schofield). Metacarpal periostatis -both sides. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259. 21 days up to and including 06.12.04.
Race 10 CATERING PROFESSIONALS DASH - C4/5 - 318 Jaiden Luke was scratched due to injury. Le Mans Song was handy early then drifted through the field to be last and showed no improvement thereafter. A Veterinary examination was ordered which revealed an injury requiring a 10 day stand down from racing. China's Fire came across to the rail near the first turn which hampered Le Mans Song. Tap To It and Brooklyn Ash came together momentarily nearing the home turn. Jaiden Luke (S.P.Clark). Laceration to webbing. Vet certificate supplied. Rule 259. 21 days up to and including 08.12.04.
