Judicial report: Weather: Fine KJ Cassidy fined $100.00 for a breach of Rule 269.3 in respect of Mulberry Man, a late scratching from Race 10.
The adjourned hearing of 11 November 2004 under Rule 135.1. against handler T Cairns was reconvened and after hearing his explanation the charge was found proven and a $50.00 fine imposed.

Race 1	PEDIGREE ADVANCE STAKES - C1 - 520	ZINGER'S REVENGE was solow to jump settling last, finishing amongst the tailenders.
Race 2	SHIRLEY VETERINARY SPRINT - C0 - 295	TALKING SOFA was slow to jump before running wide around the bend finishing last. Into the first bend HOMEBUSH SONYA ran outwards taking the favourite JANE DOE wide on the track, both coming together for a number of strides and losing all chance. Mrs G McInerney the trainers representative was shown the race film, and advised to improve the dogs racing manners. Soon after this incident I'M LAUGHING NOW ran wide colliding with TAMBOOLI, both dogs finishing behind the placegetters.
Race 3	BARRON'S SUPPLIES SPRINT - C1 - 295	SAMMY GOSSIP drifted to last after the jump finishing sixth. Into the first bend HONKY TONK LORD checked out off GLITZY OPAL'S hindquarters taking RED KING and SAMMY GOSSIP wide on the track, the dogs losing all chance finishing beyond midfield.
Race 4	ROBBIE'S BAR & BISTRO STAKES - C0 - 520	The short priced favourite JUPITER JAZZ drove to the lead running away to win untested. TRINITY TIGER ran wide around the bends losing ground finishing near the rear. CHEW CHEW ISSUE (IG Cox) right fore toe ligament rupture. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 259. 28 days up to and including 14 December 2004.
Race 5	DAVE ROBBIE PHOTOGRAPHER SPRINT - C0 - 295	SMASHNOVA jumped to a clear lead from the boxes wining easily. Into the first bend the favourite OLD JOE, HOMEBUSH MANUKA and MY SINBAD were checked as a result of tightening. HOMEBUSH MANUKA and MY SINBAD continued to come together around the bend and into the straight losing further ground filling the last two places. HAUNTED HALL (A Joyce) right wrist pain. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 259. 10 days up to and including 26 November 2004.
Race 6	ALPHA PROCESSING STAKES - C1 - 520	LIGHT POCKETS settled last finishing strongly in the straight for fourth. Into the first bend TE PIRITA TIGER and NIL DEFECTS were tightened losing all chance. EBONY DELUXE (M&J Jopson) diarrhoea. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 259. 5 days up to and including 22 November 2004.
Race 7	SOUTHERN DOG ROLL SPRINT - C1 - 295	Into the first bend JANE'S COMMANDO and DR MURDOCH came together losing ground. DR MURDOCH ran on for fourth with JANE'S COMMANDO near the rear.
Race 8	CONTAINERS DIRECT SPRINT - C1 - 295	FLASH WARRIOR and DICTATION were tightened soon after the jump, both losing ground with FLASH WARRIOR falling. He regained his feet and finished on for seventh, beating home BLONDE REBEL who ran very wide around the bend. Both were checked by the club veterinarian who detected no injury with FLASH WARRIOR however found BLONDE REBEL to have a right shoulder injury with a 21 day stand down recommended. BLONDE REBEL (AD Williams) right shoulder injury. Rule 329. 21 days up to and including 9 December 2004.
Race 9	SOUTHERN TRUST STAKES - C2 - 520	All clear.
Race 10	CANTERBURY FOUNDATION SPRINT - C0 - 295	JACK WEBBER was slow to jump settling well back never improving. Into the first bend ASTRO SHARRIE and ROBERTALAN came together losing all chance with ASTRO SHARRIE running wide around the bend. They filled the last two places. MULBERRY MAN (KJ Cassidy) was a late scratching at kennelling when weighing in 1.9kgs over his last race start weight. Rule 269.4. Trainer KJ Cassidy fined $100.00.
Race 11	CANTERBURY TELEVISION STAKES - C1 - 520	CALL ME NELSON drove to the lead soon after jumping hanging on to win from a fast finishing MARION SCENARIO.
Race 12	PEGASUS BAY MOTORS SPRINT - C2 - 295	Into the first bend OZARK'S GUMBOOT, SMART SPICE, ACE BIRD, GREEN MILE and HOMEBUSH SHADOW lost all chance when checked as a result of tightening. The other three dogs unaffected by the tightening filled the first three places with COBBITTY GIRL wining easily after jumping to a clear lead.
