Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: Weather: Partly Cloudy Please Note: The information stated under the heading 'Judicial' does not necessarily imply that all matters were handled as a formal 'Judicial Proceeding' unless specifically stated.
The relieving Judge for tonight's meeting was Graeme McClennan.
The relieving Kennel Steward for tonight's meeting was Shelley Farrell.
A new format for monitoring 'Box First' greyhounds is to be introduced effective 12.11.04.
Trainers are reminded that existing 'Box First' category greyhounds must be verbally advised to the Stipendiary Steward or Judicial Steward by the trainer or handler at time of identification / kennelling. This notification will then be checked against the greyhound's Registration Certificate where approval will need to have been previously granted and noted in the endorsement panel. A final list for the respective race meeting will then be compiled and distributed to the appropriate Race day Officials for monitoring purposes.
There will be No exceptions, additions or deletions to or from the list whatsoever.
Trainers are also reminded that 'Box First' categorization will only be granted or declined upon application to the Stipendiary Steward and once the greyhound in question has undergone an assessment process.
Trainer R.P.O'Regan was reminded of the Dress Code for Totalisator Meetings with dispensation being granted to him for this meeting only.
Owners, Trainers and Handlers are reminded of Rules 267, 367, 371 all of which relate to being licenced to undertake race day functions and the presentation of licences when requested to do so. As was the case at tonight's meeting, there will be on-going checks conducted therefore you are urged to carry your valid licence with you at all race meetings in future.
Race Meeting 02.11.04.
The opened and adjourned Inquiry into a charge laid under Rule 322.1(b) by the Stipendiary Steward, against the greyhound 'Nikkei' (B & L Craik), which competed in Race 3 at the AGRC race meeting held on 02.11.04 was reopened in the presence of N.McGough, the AGRC Judicial Committee Chairman.
