Judicial report: Weather: Overcast Trainer J Fahey was fined $25.00 for a breach of Rule 135.1 after SLENDER MAREE which she was handling prior to Race 7, escaped her lead running a short distance before being caught.

Race 1	PEDIGREE ADVANCE STAKES - C3 - 520	FLAMING PRINCE drifted to the rear soon after the jump before checking out off ASTRA NOMICOOL'S hindquarters into the first bend, running wide. He finished at the rear alongside MRS PEEL who drifted out over the concluding stages.
Race 2	GEORGE CALVERT CLEANERS GALAXY - HEAT 1 - C5q - 295 Heat 1	Into the first bend MILANION, DALHUNTY BALE and JESSTA LARRIKIN were checked as a result of tightening. They never recovered finishing at the rear. DALHUNTY BALE was checked by the club veterinarian who detected nothing amiss. AWESOME PAUL (AC Roberts) neck injury. Rule 257. 30 days up to and including 3 December 2004. LIGHTENING LIGHT (JT McInerney) was a late scratching at kennelling when found with left hind gracilus soreness. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 259. 7 days up to and including 11 November 2004. MISTER HOWLEY (MJ Flipp) right fore triceps pain. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Race 3	THE SOUTHERN TRUST NZ CUP - HEAT 1 - C5q - 520 Heat 1	FASHION THIEF jumped to a clear lead, leading until the home turn before being run down by ROMBERG REASON. Into the first bend FOLLOW ME FROSTY, WINSOME VEIN, EBONY TOKEN, KANE BALE and SUNSET JEST jostled and collided losing all chance, all five finishing some distance from the placegetters.
Race 4	GEORGE CALVERT CLEANERS GALAXY - HEAT 2 - C5q - 295 Heat 1	CONSENT was slow to jump settling at the rear. Turning into the home straight LA ROKO ran about finishing at the rear with CONSENT. HAILSTONE HEAVEN jumped to a clear lead from the outside box, leading at the way to win well.
Race 5	CONTAINERS DIRECT DISTANCE FEATURE - C1d - 732	WHATA CHARM drove to the lead from the boxes, leading all the way. JEMALONG BRUISER (GA Cleeve) muscle pain both hind whip muscles. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 259. 10 days up to and including 13 November 2004.
Race 6	THE SOUTHERN TRUST NZ CUP - HEAT 2 - C5q - 520 Heat 1	MUSCOVY checked out off CATCH ME SOON'S hindquarters into the first bend, settling third, before being run down in the straight, finishing fourth. Across the top MILKI LABRI eased off TOKEN EGO'S hindquarters before being struck by a trailing HAWKSWELL BALE and falling. MILKI LABRI regained he feet to finish the event. She was checked by the club veterinarian who detected no injury. PAUA MISSILE (D Schofield) deceased.
Race 7	THE SOUTHERN TRUST NZ CUP - HEAT 3 - C5q - 520 Heat 1	ATTORNEY GENERAL settled last after the jump finishing on over the concluding stages for fourth. Across the top OZZIE RHODE was tightened by an improving WESTAR STORM, losing ground and finishing near the rear with MEET THE PARENTS who drifted out after being handy till the end of the back straight..
Race 8	GEORGE CALVERT CLEANERS GALAXY - HEAT 3 - C5q - 295 Heat 1	GOLD TOY and GRAND MOVER dwelt at the start settling at the rear. Into the first bend GOLD TOY hit the rail free of interference, losing all chance. He was examined by the club veterinarian who detected serious injuries to the left hind leg with a 28 day stand down recommended. Into the home straight GRAND MOVER and JESSE JOHN came together for a number of strides, finishing behind the placegetters. SHIRAZ VINE (JT McInerney) was a late scratching at kennelling when found with an unstable left fore toe. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 259. 10 days up to and including 14 November 2004. CORDU BALE (AC Roberts) skin wound right shoulder. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 259. 5 days up to and including 9 November 2004. Race 9	THE SOUTHERN TRUST NZ CUP - HEAT 4 - C5q - 520 Heat 1	Into the first bend INSIDE COVER, FAITHFUL BLUE and LINDALE EXPRESS were tightened by an improving CHEAP WINE, all four losing momentum finishing at the rear. THRILLING SAM dwelt at the start settling well back before running on late for third.
Race 10	GEORGE CALVERT CLEANERS GALAXY - HEAT 4 - C5q - 295 Heat 1	KERCHAK and DELTA SKELTER were tightened by dogs on their outer into the first bend, losing all chance finishing midfield. Into the home straight GARLAND BALE hit ROTKARA BOMBER'S hindquarters, finishing near the rear.
