HOMEBUSH RED galloped on the heels of BRAVE GYPSY on the first corner, moved out sharply and checked INDICATIVE and they lost several lengths and filled the last three places. |

WATERLEA LASS was away well but was checked on the first corner and lost several lengths and tailed the field home. There was a camera malfunction part way through the race which resulted in coverage of the early and latter stages only. Entering the back straight, she was well back but ran home strongly in the straight to finish in third place. |

He then ran wide on the bend and forced JANE'S COMMAND out over extra ground and they finished well back. She then received a check as they entered the back straight and dropped out to last, eventually finishing several lengths behind the second last runner. The hot favourite THRILLING ZACK lost his footing on the first bend when leading but recovered quickly to go on and win with ease. |
