Judicial report: Weather: Fine An inquiry under Rule 280 was opened and adjourned into the non production of the certificate of registration for SEASPRAY FOLLY, a starter in Race 8, pending further inquiries or production of the registration certificate.
An inquiry under Rule 135.10 was opened and adjourned against trainer JT McInerney following a complaint from kennel staff.

Into the first bend LUNAR ANGEL checked out off the hindquarters of HOMEBUSH TURBO, running wide around the bend losing all chance, finishing at the rear with OZARK'S ANGEL. The favourite SIXTEEN GAUGE jumped to the lead before drifting through the field to finish near the rear. |

Into the first bend JOHN'S BLUEY struck the hindquarters of TRINITY SAINT before checking out into the path of ROBERTALAN. TRINITY SAINT ran on well for second with the other dogs midfield. WITCH WENDY was third turning into the straight before drifting out to finish last. |

FOLLOW THE TREND went to the lead into the first bend leading all the way to win well. Into the first bend BUCKS FOLDING and CECILIA LUGER jostled for a number of strides losing momentum finishing second and third. RUN TO PARADISE improved through the field around the bend finishing strongly in the straight for second. Into the first corner BUS PAINTER struck the hindquarters of HOMEBUSH LEGEND falling heavily as a result. He took no further part in the event and was checked by the club veterinarian who detected nothing amiss. Around the first bend ULTIMATE MOVER ran wide taking CYBIL DEFENCE with him, both dogs losing all chance finishing at the rear. |
