| Race 4 | DOUBLE 'S' MOTORDROME '305' - C0 - 305 | KIM'S FLAME was very slow away and raced well back throughout the race. The eventual winner WINSOME DELIGHT moved across to the rail on the first corner and badly checked BANJO COUNTRY and HOMEBUSH CHRIS who went quickly back to the rear and stayed there. INADMISSABLE was also hindered in that incident. |
| Race 5 | MARIST DASH - HEAT 1 - C1q - 305 Heat 1 | TURBO JEWEL ran in from the start and crowded TARRAH and PITSTOCK JAZZ for a few strides. TARRAH recovered to win with ease but PITSTOCK JAZZ then ran out wide and finished near the rear. |

She lost ground and moved out and cannoned into DURANGO STAR who went off stride and tailed the field home with EARL MCROBERTS just ahead. DURANGO STAR was examined by the vet and cleared of injury. ASTRO VIEW moved out approaching the home turn and continued out, pushing ROSIE'S DAUGHTER out towards the outside fence down the home straight. The trainer elected to admit a breach of Rule 322 (1) (b) had occurred and ASTRO VIEW was stood for one month and will be required to trial before its next start. EMILIE ONE was galloped on by SOME CANDY on the bend and dropped back several places to finish well back after looking likely to fill a placing. | Race 14 | DA MORRISON'S ELECTRIC CITY - C1 - 520 | STALLONE was slow to begin and then rushed up on the first bend, got on the heels of ROSINA REASON and fell heavily. ROSINA REASON lost several lengths and all chance. STALLONE was examined by the Veterinarian and found to have a broken foreleg. He was then humanely euthanased. AND VICTORIA moved in on the first corner and checked PUZZLING KNIGHT who moved out and made contact with MANAWA NUI. STALLONE Trainer G.Calverley Rule 329 Suffered a fractured foreleg in a fall and euthanased by the Clubs veterinarian. |

TIPPED TOP was handy in the run to the first corner but then clipped the heels of the eventual winner on the bend and went back to last and stayed near the rear.
