Judicial report: Weather: Fine The enquiry adjourned on 1 September 2004 against trainer RD Blackurn and her dog GIVEN TITLE was reconvened. She elected to plead guilty to a breach of Rule 257 being fined $50.00 with GIVEN TITLE stood down for 30 days up to and including 30 September 2004.

Race 1	PEDIGREE ADVANCE SPRINT - C0 - 295	CECILIA JUDE and LIGNUM VITAE came together soon after the jump settling towards the rear before easing into the first corner when tightened by GOLDEN SI on their outer. These dogs filled the last three places.
Race 2	DAVE ROBBIE PHOTOGRAPHER STAKES - C1 - 520	Into the first bend the short priced favourite FORCEFUL HABIT checked out off the hindquarters of KELLBRETT PRINCE colliding with JEMALONG BRUISER and falling. Soon after this incident WHATA CHARM and KELLBRETT PRINCE jostled for a number of strides when racing near the rear. These dogs finished midfield with FORCEFUL HABIT regaining his feet and finishing some distance behind. He was checked by the Club Veterinarian and found to have right hip soreness with a 5 day stand down recommended. MULBERRY CHELLE (KJ Cassidy) back strain. Dog presented. Race 3	SHIRLEY VETERINARY SPRINT - C0 - 295	CECILIA PHARAOH and EXPANDED drifted to the rear soon after the jump. Around the bend and into the home straight LADY OUTING, TRINITY SAINT, LAST ORDERS and JUST A LAD ran wide enabling CECILIA PHARAOH to rail through and finish on for third. GOLDFINGER JEWEL, the second favourite, drove straight to the lead from the start running away to win easily. HOMEBUSH SMITHY (JT McInerney) kennel cough. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 259. 5 days up to and including 18 September 2004.
Race 4	ALPHA PROCESSING SPRINT - C1 - 295	FLASH WARRIOR was slow to jump from the outside box before running wide around the field to finish on for third. Into the first bend MULBERRY ROLL and HOMEBUSH DIESEL came together with HOMEBUSH DIESEL losing ground and finishing midfield and MULBERRY ROLL finishing strongly for second. IVORY DELUXE (WM Tijsen) retired. Rule 257. 30 days up to and including 12 October 2004. HOMEBUSH LEGEND (JT McInerney) was a late scratching with kennel cough. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 259. 5 days up to and including 18 September 2004.
Race 5	ROBBIES BAR & BISTRO STAKES - C1 - 520	TOP CURRENT was slow to jump before running wide around the first bend when racing at the rear, finishing sixth. BUS PAINTER led until the home turn before being run down to finish fourth.
Race 6	GEORGE CALVERT CLEANING SPRINT - C1 - 295	HOMEBUSH BOY, RED KING and WATTA FLYER were slow to jump settling well back. An improving HOMEBUSH BOY struck the hindquarters of SMART HAVOC into the first bend before improving inside dogs to get up and win well. Into the home straight JACK RHODE rolled off the rail tightening JACK THE ALIEN and the favourite SPARKLING LIGHTS on his outer, these dogs finishing midfield. MULBERRY BEAN (KJ Cassidy) left fore infected foot. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 259. 10 days up to and including 20 September 2004.
Race 7	BARRON'S SUPPLIES STAKES - C1 - 520	DELUSIVE BALE went to the lead from the jump to lead all the way and win well. BOMBER BELLE (M&J Hill) in season. Rule 258. 30 days up to and including 10 October 2004. MICRON GALE (MM Grant) kennel cough. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 259. 5 days up to and including 17 September 2004.
Race 8	CONTAINERS DIRECT INTERTRADE SPRINT - C0 - 295	CECILIA JOSIE lost all chance when coming up with the lids finishing last. Into the first bend CECILIA PAUL was checked when tightened between HIGH FLYIN TEDDY and I'M LAUGHING NOW, these dogs finishing some distance behind the place getters. HEAD PREFECT (M&J Jopson) was a late scratching at kennelling with kennel cough and pyrexia. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 259. 7 days up to and including 20 September 2004.
Race 9	SOUTHERN DOG ROLL STAKES - C0 - 520	Entering the first bend ORPHAN ASSASSIN drove between dogs tightening the favourite GOLDSPOON, HOMEBUSH MCGIVAR, GIVEN THE BLUES and TOKEN KIWI, these dogs losing ground. ORPHAN ASSASSIN went to a clear lead across the top before being caught in the last stride by MULBERRY EBO who finished strongly. At the end of the back straight HOMEBUSH MCGIVAR, GIVEN THE BLUES and ANDREW FLEX came together for a number of strides when racing at the rear never improving thereafter. UNDER TIME (GA Cleeve) kennel cough. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 259. 5 days up to and including 18 September 2004.
Race 10	DAVID EMERSON CONSULTANCY SPRINT - C1 - 295	FATAL OBSESSION and AQUA FRED were slow to jump settling at the rear. Into the first bend MARISSA BALE and NOT A WHEELER were tightened by the eventual winner EL ASSASSIN, MARISSA BALE running on well for second with NOT A WHEELER finishing at the rear alongside FATAL OBSESSION and AQUA FRED.
Race 11	FLAIR STAKES - C0 - 520	HOMEBUSH GOLIATH was slow to jump settling well back and when improving into the first bend checked out off the hindquarters of MISSING FERN running wide and finishing near the rear. HOMEBUSH PHIL (JT McInerney) was a late scratching at kennelling with kennel cough. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 259. 5 days up to and including 18 September 2004.
Race 12	RAPIDVITE STAKES - C1 - 520	JUDYANNE BALE drifted to the rear after the jump finishing strongly in the straight for a close third. Into the first bend SHADY'S MATE struck the hindquarters of the favourite BLUE MOON MAGIC both dogs losing all chance and finishing at the rear.
Race 13	BILLS BAR & BISTRO SPRINT - C0 - 295	IDOLISE ME was very slow to jump settling last however improved along the rail to run on for fourth as a result of HOT SPOT, MOVE ON MISTRESS, CECILIA FAY, BARDO'S ANGEL and the favourite BALMAR BLUE losing all chance when coming together into the first bend.
Race 14	KOLORFUL KANVAS STAKES - C0 - 520	FLYING BRIAN was slow to jump finishing amongst the tailenders. Into the first bend CECILIA GRANT and the favourite LIGHT POCKETS came together, both losing ground, with LIGHT POCKETS finishing strongly for second and CECILIA GRANT finishing a distant last. He was checked by the Club Veterinarian who detected nothing amiss. FRENCH SPARROW (M&J Hill) was a late scratching at kennelling with kennel cough. Veterinary certificate supplied. Race 15	TRACKSIDE DINING PH 338-6145 - C1 - 295	UP A NOTCH and SAMMY GOSSIP were slow to jump settling at the rear. Into the first bend the favourite PITCAIRN ACE and OZARK'S GUMBOOT were badly checked by an improving FAST AND FIT who ran on for third. The other two dogs along with UP A NOTCH and SAMMY GOSSIP finished at the rear.
Race 16	CANTERBURY DRAUGHT SIX PACK - C1 - 295	DOLLY POACHER was slow to jump settling last and never improving. Into the first bend HOMEBUSH JASON and FEARLESS MAGOO came together with FEARLESS MAGOO running on for fourth and HOMEBUSH JASON at the rear.
