Judicial report: Weather: Fine The Judicial Steward for tonight's meeting was Mr Neil McGough
Handlers are reminded of the requirement to follow the instructions of the Parade Steward at all times whilst parading your greyhound prior to and after the race.
The expectation is that all greyhounds will be paraded in a straight line and on the side of the handler which provides maximum exposure to the TAB Trackside camera. Viewers on and off course need to have a clear view of each greyhound during each parade and not the legs of the handlers. Your cooperation is requested so as to project a very coordinated and professional image to everyone viewing our sport.

Race 1	AUCKLAND SPRING CHAMPIONSHIP HURDLES - HEAT - C1/2hq - 527 Heat 1	Val's Babe was a late scratching due to an unacceptable weight variance from it's last race start. Aranuijazz fell heavily at the third hurdle when running third and then carried on to finish the race. A Veterinary examination was ordered. Shaka Malawi, Kiwi Blue and Chippewa Brave were slow to begin with Shaka Malawi being the only one to make ground finishing 4th. Val's Babe (B.J.Jordan). Late Scratching due 1.7kg weight variance. No penalty but $100.00 fine incurred under Rule 269.3.
Race 2	WARREN LARSEN STAKES - C4/5 - 527	Rial To Reason was slow, ran up to midfield and ran on to finish 4th. Campese Bale was slow, raced up to midfield then drifted back to finish last. Rasmah Reason was slow out, improved along rail then, switched wide and ran on strongly for a close second. Some Joe was last early and improved along rail to finish 5th. Bingo Appeal began well,handy, then drifted to finish 7th.
Race 3	COCA-COLA SPRINT FINAL - C1f - 318	Jeepers was pushed towards the rail and severely hampered by Just Too Hot after 20 mtrs. Johnny Tulloch and Don Paulie jostled after 20 mtrs with Johnny Tulloch then taking up a very wide running position and losing ground to finish 7th.
Race 4	TINT-A-CAR MAIDEN FINAL - C0f - 527	Tiki Tour missed the start and lost 5 lengths then made ground for 4th. Winged Delight missed the start, lost 6 lengths, went to rear, checked of the heels of Trendy Time on the first turn and then ran out on the bend hampering Bet She Can. Trendy Time was slow then checked off the heels of Justa Half Pint on the first turn and recovered well to finish 2nd. Bet She Can clipped the heels of Kath after 20 mtrs.
Race 5	RADIO PACIFIC DASH - C1/2 - 318	Lady Dolly and Smokin' Time jostled after 15 mtrs with Lady Dolly being checked to the rear and never improving thereafter to finish last. Smokin' Time ran out on the first turn severely checking Lady Dolly racing at the rear and then Just The Don further out on the track. Miss Jade was midfield then ran out to wider position and made ground for 5th.
Race 6	MEADOWSET GRAPHICS DASH - C1/2 - 318	Peter Hand began fairly, came across sharply on the first turn slightly checking Bozo Fulton and Flash Mistress. Peter Hand and No Invitation also came together for a few strides on the first turn. Flash Mistress and Peter Hand jostled momentarily on the home turn. Storm Edition missed the start , rear early, checked, raced up quickly then switched to rail and fought on well for 3rd. Osbourne was slow, ran out from rails on the first turn, tightening Prairie Fire and then further out on the track severely checked both Bozo Fulton and Storm Edition.
Race 7	BELLBIRD ARMS STAKES - C1 - 527	Super Tod the favourite began fairly, then checked on the first turn by Philip Bale which was tightened when racing on the rail and came out on Harvard Boy which in turn ran out and checked Super Tod which never improved after to finish 7th. Ebony Deluxe was slow then pushed wide by Splicklez on the first turn and held ground for 5th.
Race 8	STREETS ICE CREAM DASH - C3 - 318	Marrick Maid, Just Curly and Lucky Lipinski jostled after 15 mtrs and Marrick Maid and Lucky Lipinski came together again after 30 mtrs. Sue Van Gill (S.P.Clark). Rule 329. 10 days up to and including 18.09.04.(Race record card to be endorsed). Hypoumunga (M.Earley). Rule 329. 30 days up to and including 08.10.04.(Race record card to be endorsed).
Race 9	JIMBO'S PET FOOD DASH - C4/5 - 318	Nicholas Bale was slow out, ran up along rail and held ground well for 4th. Blue Paragon the favourite began fairly, went to rail, drifted to last and then ran on in the straight for 5th. Bacon Lady began fast to have a clear lead by the first turn, ran wide on the turn pushing Wild Seattle wider then held ground well for 3rd. Jaiden Luke ran out from the rails on the home turn and clipped the heels of Thelma Bale.
Race 10	ROYAL WOLF CONTAINERS STAKES - C2/3 - 527	Westar Storm came across at the start colliding with Melissa Bale which in turn hampered Gozo Reg. Poco King ran off the rail quickly on the first turn clipping the heels of Coruba Storm which fell and severely checked Gozo Reg and forced this runner to the outside of the track. A Veterinary examination was ordered for Coruba Storm.
