Judicial report: Weather: Fine As a result of the late scratching STOCK BROKER from Race 6 due to unacceptable weight variance from its last race start, the Assistant Weighing Steward was reminded of the responsibility to read and record the correct weight in comparison to the last start weight.
STOCK BROKER (FD Farmer) was weighed and then re weighed to confirm a 1.8kg weight variance from its last race start. Trainer FD Farmer incurs a $100.00 fine under Rule 269.3.
KAISER IZMIR (NP Green) was weighed and then re weighed to confirm a 2.0kg weight variance from its last race start. Trainer NP Green incurs a $100.00 fine under Rule 269.3.

Race 1	STREETS ICE CREAM DASH - C0 - 318	TE PUKE GOLD was slow to begin then wide and battled on to finish seventh. PIZZA BAD BOY began well, drifted on the turn and finished fifth. OSTI'S CROWN was slow to begin and then wide throughout finishing at the rear.
Race 2	RADIO PACIFIC C3 FEATURE - C3 - 527	DR KINGSLEY and YALLAH EBONY were both slow to begin and always at the rear thereafter. JUST CURLY was handy early then raced up on the turn but faded in the straight to finish fifth.
Race 3	ROYAL WOLF CONTAINERS DASH - C2 - 318	MISS JADE began well and was jostled by POETICAL after 20m, then had her heels clipped on the first bend by FARMER BENSON. FARMER BENSON was slow to begin, clipped the heels of MISS JADE and was never in contention after, finishing last. HYPUMUNGA was checked on the first bend when JOHNNY TULLOCH came across quickly but rallied well to finish fourth. PETITE JEWEL ran out after the start hampering MAY BE WELL and POETICAL, then went to a clear lead and won easily.
Race 4	TINT-A-CAR DASH - C1 - 318	RAWHITI ROGUE was slow to begin, then ran up through the field, and held ground in the straight to finish fourth. DON PAULIE lost a length after the start and showed little improvement after finishing seventh.
Race 5	MEADOWSET GRAPHICS STAKES - C1 - 527	EBONY DELUXE was slow to begin, made a rails run in the back straight and finished strongly for second. MASONRY jumped awkwardly hampering AMUSEMENT then ran very wide on the final turn finishing fifth. BOOT'S LAST began well, chasing the leader but faded in the straight to finish fourth.
Race 6	FRIDAY FLASH DASH - C4/5 - 318	PARRA POWER was slow to begin then ran very wide on the bend, never improving to finish fifth. HOT AGENT drifted after the start and battled on to finish fourth. SHAR NIZAR began well, drifting slightly on the bend and came again for second. STOCK BROKER (FD Farmer) was a late scratching due to an unacceptable weight variance from last race start.
Race 7	CAROL'S TAB DASH - C3 - 318	MY JOURNEY was slow to begin then railed through to finish second. FAITHFUL HABIT was wide throughout and held ground for third. DUDLEY DERSLEY was tightened between PURE HONCHO trying to get off the rail and MISS TRACEY LEE on the bend causing DUDLEY DERSLEY to fall heavily. MISS TRACEY LEE and MARRICK MAID were also checked and forced wide DUDLEY DERSLEY was sent for a veterinary examination.. DUDLEY DERSLEY (GC Farrell) Rule 329 suffered shock and bruising as a result of falling during race and was stood down for 7 days up to and including 25 August 2004.
Race 8	WWW.EXPOSURES.CO.NZ - WEBSITE HOSTING - C2 - 527	SPLICKEZ was slow to begin and always at the rear. JUST THE DON was back early, commenced a wide run before going back to the rail and held ground to finish fourth. KEENJACKAROO began well to lead then wilted in the straight to finish third. EASTER MAN was handy but wide then drifted from the bend to finish fifth. KAISER IZMIR (NP Green) was a late scratching due to an unacceptable weight variance from last race start. EASTER MAN (KE Lomas) Rule 329 suffered an injury to the back left pad and was stood down for 10 days up to and including 28 August 2004.
Race 9	NORTHERN DIGITAL PHOTOFINISH STAKES - C4/5 - 527	SOME JOE was very slow to begin then improved along the rail and battled on for fifth. TRENDY RHODE was denied racing room on the first bend and showed no improvement thereafter finishing fourth. BINGO APPEAL was handy until the final bend, drifting and running wide before finishing last.
