Judicial report: Weather: Fine A Judicial Hearing was convened at which a charge was brought against the owner/trainer SC Mann in terms of Rule 134.10.(c), in that he was guilty of improper conduct when using obscene language and making abusive threats of violence to two other trainers during the running of a race. As Mr Mann had left the course when the hearing was convened, the matter was adjourned by the Judicial Chairman until the 25 July 2004.

| Race 1 | STREETS ICE CREAM DASH - C0 - 318 | Bedas Boy crossed the back of the field after the jump and settled in the running behind Grogan Lee and Ima Little Rowdy on the inner - entering the bend Ima Little Rowdy bored in on Grogan Lee and as those two dogs jostled, Bedas Boy climbed on the hind quarters of Ima Little Rowdy and that dog then fell heavily to the track. Ima Little Rowdy regained his footing and finished a distance back. A post race veterinary exmaination cleared the fallen dog of injury. |
| Race 2 | FRIDAY FLASH SPRINT - HEAT 1 - C1q - 318 Heat 1 | Shes Home Soon was slow to start. Bold Hove raced prominently early then when entering the bend was squeezed between Lady Dolly and Miss Tracey Lee - Miss Tracey Lee climbing over the rear of Bold Hove and forcing her to fall. Bold Hove recovered her footing and finished the race. A post race veterinary examination revealed a laceration that required sutures and a stand down recovery period. No 5 Bold Hove (MK Kimber). Rule 329 - injured in running - stifle laceration.Stand down 8 days to 27.07.04. VC held. |

Kath and Autobe were in running shoulder to shoulder contact following the jump, and this was repeated during the rounding of the bend. No 1 Pitter Patter (D Mathews) Rule 259 - kennel cough. Stand down 10 days to 29.07.04. VC held. No 2 Spooky Fella. Greyhound now deceased. No 7 Great Blue (RJM Smith). Rule 259 - kennel cough. Stand down 30 days to 18.08.04. | Race 4 | FRIDAY FLASH SPRINT - HEAT 2 - C1q - 318 Heat 1 | Educating Archie, the reserve from box 7, moved sharply across the face of the field following the jump causing considerable tightening of the inner runners in their charge to the bend. No 7 Jumbo Flash (D Mathews). Under current stand down. |
| Race 5 | CAROL'S TAB DASH - C2 - 318 | Just Curly crossed quickly to the track inner to take the lead, holding until Storm Edition, last at the jump and in the early running, had worked steadily forward to challenge strongly on the inner and take the win. |
| Race 6 | BOON BUILDING MAIDEN - HEAT 2 - C0q - 527 Heat 1 | Finn appeared to have broken down when off stride and limping following the jump, but ran on towards the finish. Overload was positioned handy in the running moving through the first bend until she was checked by This Time Boots moving out on her inner - Overload then came into the path of Oxey - Oxey climbed over Overload's back before himself flaring wide.
