CELESTIAL recovered to finish quickly for a close 2nd place but the other two battled after the incident and filled the last two places. |

REAL LIFE, TOKEN ANSWER and SHEZA ZINGER came together and jostled for several strides on the first corner. They lost several lengths and tailed the field home in the last three places. Race 3 | ASR SPRAYPAINTING DASH - C2 - 305 | ENROLLMENT ran in from the start and bumped SUMMER SWEET and LADY MALONE who settled near the rear and stayed well back. |
Race 4 | DOUBLE 'S' MOTORDROME STAKES - C1 - 520 | THRILLING ASTRO moved out to go around GUILT TRIP on the first corner and in doing so bumped CALL ME CUTE out off line. LITTLE BOW WOW checked on the first corner when attempting a gap inside SHONI'S LIGHT. THRILLING ASTRO fought with the winner GUILT TRIP all the way down the home straight and as this was the second offence under Rule 322, the dog was stood down for 3 months and is required to requalify under Rule 179 (1). Race 5 | DISPLAY ASSOCIATES '520' - C2/3 - 520 | SEASPRAY PADERO was a late scratching when found to be suffering from gastroenteritis. ASTRO NERONE ran in sharply from the start and bumped RAFFERTY REASON. OUR LARRY, ASTRO NERONE and GOLD TOY then came together and bumped for a few strides as they raced to the first corner. Race 6 | EXCEED DISTANCE FEATURE NO. 1 - C1d - 645 | RAILROAD PAT was scratched due to a gracilus injury. TIGER EYES moved across from the start and checked SHAVE THE SHEEP who fell. She suffered from grazing and some bruising and was stood down for 7 days. MINNIE LASS was also hindered in the incident and dropped back to the rear. RANDOM HARVEST challenged the leader HOT TREASURE on the home turn, went to the lead but then eased and turned its head and was narrowly beaten. RANDOM HARVEST was stood down for one month and is required to requalify under Rule 179 (1). The dog had infringed in the past under the same rule but the last twelve runs have been clean. Race 9 | HEADS ROAD VETERINARY '520' - C2 - 520 | TOOT AND HOLLER was handy early but faded down the back straight and eased noticeably on the final bend to drop back and finish a long last. The connections of TOOT AND HOLLER accepted that the dog had breached Rule 322 (1) (b) by failing to persue the lure throughout and a one month stand down was ordered and the dog will be required to trial under Rule 179 (1).
